Like he said, reality sucks, don't be pissed at him, be pissed at the one responsible for telling the lie that got the young man into the situation.

Until you make that connection expect to lose more people, even friends and family.

What connection? Who's pissed? If anything, I'm sad. Then again, as I said, I do not expect any understanding from someone who has no idea what freedom means to opressed. Hope you'll never have to find out.

Sure, go fire your guns of freedom by flicking on foxnews and buying that nationalist garbage and come back and b1tch in front of your computer.

Not surprising really.

I wouldn't my son or daughter dying for oil.

But I also don't like my taxes being used to lure the poor so they can die for my gas prices.
yes, they're dying for oil  We're practically swimming in it now.

Then what are they dying for? WMD's? Iraq a threat to the US? Iraqi freedom?

They're dying for a lie. Money hand over fist dumped into that hellhole for absolutely nothing!

I tell you what, there is a family I know in town, whose nephew died in Iraq. How would you like to talk to them and tell them that their nephew died for nothing, for a lie. That freedom and liberty are only a nuisance. That bringing liberty to people who were opressed for decades by the most brutal dictator in the Middle East doesn't matter. Of course I doubt you understand the real price of freedom as you never had to fight for it.

Of course if the war was actually fought for liberty, freedom, democracy, liberation of any of those nice pleasant terms, It would be a different stroy.

I'll tell you what -- You go and tell them that isn't what happened, and try to keep a straight face. The truth is just as true, even when it's ugly.
That freedom and liberty are only a nuisance.
I think you're mistaking Iraq for WWII.
That bringing liberty to people who were opressed for decades by the most brutal dictator in the Middle East doesn't matter.
That's cute, but it has nothing to do with the reasons Bush gave for starting the war. In fact, he didn't get around to that piece of fluff until well after the cover was blown on all of his previous lies.
Of course I doubt you understand the real price of freedom as you never had to fight for it.
Of course, you haven't said whether you did, either. Of course, the war in Iraq has nothing to do with fighting for our freedom.

My fighting or not fighting for anything has nothing to do with it. It was a fvcking lie. Take your apologetic, reason shifting idea and shove it. If you don't like mine, don't read and don't post! :|

IRAQ WAS A BIG FVCKING LIE!!!

All you fanboys don't even have the decency to post a tribute to Perknose's memorial thread. Fvck off!

You enjoy giving them their "freedom" or whatever reason that you shifted to for today, get your combat boots on and go over and fight for them on it.

One, there are others who have lost family and feel differently. Two, why not tell them that it was the neocons who supported Saddam in the 1980s. Its pretty damning every time I see the picture of Rumsfield shaking hands with him.

So the best arguments in your arsenal are "shove it", "fvcking", and a "lie" I can see you making a credible point

Engineer's hard words just show he's pissed at your meaningless Bushwhacko fanboi response. Too bad those words are all you could find to pick on, but it doesn't take anything away from the truth in his post.

I made some of the same points with less hostle words, but so far, I don't see you showing the balls to reply to my post. :p

Bush has a lotta' 'splainin' to do, AnyMal...

U.S. Death Toll in Iraq Crosses 1,700

Jun 12, 4:36 PM (ET)

By PAUL GARWOOD

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - The military announced the killing of four more U.S. soldiers on Sunday, pushing the American death toll past 1,700, and police found the bullet-riddled bodies of 28 people - many thought to be Sunni Arabs - buried in shallow graves or dumped streetside in Baghdad.

The bodies were discovered as the Shiite-led government pressed to open disarmament talks with insurgents responsible for a relentless campaign of violence, which has taken on ominous sectarian overtones with recurring tit-for-tat killings.

A crackdown by Iraqi security forces in Baghdad and offensives carried out by U.S. forces in western Iraq have had only had a temporary effect in blunting the cycle of carnage in which at least 940 people have died since Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari announced his government six weeks ago.

AND ALL FOR WHAT???

BTW, when did I say anything about WMD? Care to remind me BBond?

You're lying just like Bush. You're trying to tell Americans who WERE THERE that Bush invaded Iraq so he could free all of those poor oppressed Iraqis who his daddy and Ronnie Reagan helped Saddam oppress in the first place. So the first question that comes to my mind is...

Where's the WMD, AnyMal?

Care to answer, AnyMal?
