This isn't the account I was talking about. The flood account should be read completely instead of making assumptions. The bible doesn't say all the water came from rain fall. I was hoping you'd just read it and discover it for yourself since that is always more meaningful to the learner.

Further down it talks of natural springs opening and "floodwaters from the heavens." Now that is more realistic. You have me convinced.

It's funny because buckshot is probably convincing more people that religion is bullshit than an army of militant atheists could ever do. 🙂

No they aren't. What evidence do you have that God came down and fiddled with the earth to fool the smart people into going to hell?

What evidence do you have that the bible is real? I assume bshole has faith in his assertion, that is all that is needed. Strong faith.

I'm sure you are. I wasn't trying to convince you. I was trying to educate you on what it really says. Paratus' calculations are using the wrong numbers and the wrong assumptions.

Easy peasy.

Floodwaters from the heavens would be equivalent to rain. How much percent of the water came from the springs do you think? The ark was hit from above AND below with water. We can use these new parameters to recalculate the rate and force of the water.

Buck,

Just so you know, Christianity is now officially dying. In a century or so it will be viewed in the same manner as Roman mythology. The internet is murdering all religions.

I have one sitting on my desk. It is real. You mean that it is true? I think I'll pass.

Good point, the physical bible is obviously real. Did the content of that book actually happen and is it true? There is some evidence for the people in the book existing. Endless buckets of fish and the earth completely flooding, well that's a bit different.

Here is another. God is preselecting against the most intelligent and innovative people on earth.

I have no idea. I wouldn't assume it was getting blasted from below as the text doesn't say the entire earth was shooting out water.

I believe it did. Am I going to give evidence and make arguments in this forum about that, no.

You can't even answer that?

You like to tell us what you don't believe, what you think is not true. Questioning others' beliefs in the hope that they will be refuted, or at least doubted, leaving yours as the last one standing is not a technique that will work.

Did you buy Hearts of Iron IV? We should play some time.

I did say the things in it happened. By me passing I mean proving it to a bunch of atheists that it did.

Which column represents God fiddling with the earth?

The Christian God does not exist so he obviously does not fiddle with earth.

If he were to exist, then he had to fiddle with the earth to deceive the collective scientific community - the most intelligent people on the planet. If he was God, he would obviously have the power to fiddle with the earth in such a way that it was undetectable to science. It would defeat his purpose to have the fiddling detectable. The fact that the fiddling is undetectable is proof that God did the fiddling.

The question is why did he change the earth to conflict with his written word? The answer is to get as many smart people into hell as possible.
