No matter what your take on the physical ark is the fact that they could spend so much money on the thing when there are so many other worthwhile needs out there is just astounding. How many orphanages could be helped by that amount of funding for the betterment of children? Our nation is littered with homeless shelters, wouldn't that money be better spent by helping improve the lives of the less fortunate? I find it amazing that religion has become money centric and then they waste resources on inane ventures such as this one. The fact that they were attempting to acquire public funds to complete this project makes my blood boil.

Belief in the invisible Rabbits Foot is more important than the mere Needs of the Sinful Flesh.

You do realize that anyone that wanted to build an Atheist Land theme park could receive the same tax breaks as this theme park. Then again, it would most likely go bankrupt in the first month,

The main criticisms against it are the Hiring Practices. Which include only accepting Christians of a similar belief and also requiring Sexual Abstinence of Single Persons.

I don't think they forced anyone to work at the theme park.

Though I suspect you would be okay with a LGBT entity not hiring a staunch Christian knowing their stance on people that live a LGBT lifestyle.

The Hiring practices are clearly discriminatory.

An atheist land like, say, the Natural History museum in London?

That's just managed to scrape by for a hundred and thirty years or so.

nothing really could be "based on atheism," but don't let that keep you from posting stupid shit.

Some people seem to know no better, and just feel a desire to hang a tag on anything.

If your alive and breathing and don't give a shit about religion at all, your an atheist. The religious people have to affix a tag.

Cheers man.

And the ignorance rolls on.

All you ever do is post fatuous nonsense, or placeholders/reservations for nonsense. In recently memory you fatuously informed agent that islam was a religion. When presented with photoshopped images you fatuously remark that they're photoshopped. And now this. Do you know what ignorance means? How is stating someone's mom is an amusement park an example of ignorance? Truly one of the dumbest people here, which is saying a lot.

Basically screw off, as far as I'm concerned.

The things I saw were photo chopped.

You're one of those people I won't waste time trying to have a discussion with.

You seem to have went out of your way to catch what I typed before I removed it, why would that be a real surprise.

Because you are playing games and not discussing anything. Nice try though.

I forgot about all the "redacted" or "nm" posts. I wonder how many of your 32k posts (in like 2 and some years? jesus) are actually meaningful in any way at all. 5%? So yes, please don't "waste [so much of] of [your] time."

At this rate the AE might not last a month.

Apparently, you don't spend much time here.

But as I do, I all ready know that.

What is your point, other than some other form of personal judgement on your part it appears ?

Off to other things, this does not apply to the thread.

Sorry.
