I know I'm not anywhere close to where I thought I'd be when I was in HS.
Everything just sucks.
Theonly thing that came even remotely close is that I work with computers, but I'm not sure so thats still what I want to do.

I'm coming up on 10 years since I've left HS. I had no clue what I wanted to be 10 years ago. I suppose I exceeded my expectations (became a lawyer) but somehow it doesn't feel like much of an accomplishment. I'm still struggling financially and I haven't done the things I've wanted, like tour the world.
I got a job in a small firm. I guess the experience is some ways better than in a big firm (get to take my own clients and handle my own cases sometimes, and work regular hours) but the pay is whatever I bring in. It's hard to get work when you don't have an established client base.Originally posted by: JEDI

Expect nothing, and you'll be prepared for anything.
(I had no expectations)
