I give you, in his own words, Liberal Larry, the guy Corn desperately wants to believe, against ALL evidence, is actually a liberal and not an angry parodist:

Uh oh.

Would it help if I said that upon further review I find the guy actually pretty damn funny? Here's an excerpt on gay marriage from the "Liberal Larry" point of view:
I know, I know - "Marriage is a sacred institution between a man and a woman, blah blah blah". Yeah, whatever you say, Reverend Swaggart. Man, woman, chicken, what's the difference? You're thinking in black & white - there are gray areas, you know. Graaaaaaaay areas. Herman Goerring said that the first step towards Fascism is gender absolutism, and here you cons go, goosestepping right back to the Third Reich. Today, you're whining about high school health teachers giving dildo demonstrations to your kids, tomorrow you're slapping pink triangles on homosexuals and loading them onto box cars.

a dumbass movie for idiots.

a sad commentary on liberalism when a fat. moronic, lying slob is viewed as a liberal icon and hero..

instead of going to the movie, why don't you spend your daddies money to buy a tee-shirt with Che Guevara's image on it...maybe some girl will think your cool.

No way in hell. I won't be spending my hard earned money to support his propaganda. I can think of a million other ways of spending my time. For example, getting a tooth pulled would be more fun than listening to the filth that spews forth from his mouth. Moderate republican.

I agree with the sentiment that Moore is Limbaugh for his side. I've already been fed enough half-truths to last a lifetime.

I think you give Moore too much credit. He has nowhere near the intelligence of Limbaugh; no matter how much you disagree with Rush or his daily "words of wisdom". Moore wears his "crap" on his sleeve for all to see and then twists the (at best) half-truths into a doctrine of believe-ability, supported by (again) his doctrine of hate. There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with the current president and deciding not to vote for him. What is wrong is people that use half-truths, lies and hate mongering to try to promote their own agenda and a negative attitude towards their own country, in hopes of defeating the current leaders. That is exactly what Moore is trying to do. Thankfully, most Americans can see right through it and are doing so by NOT going to see this film and not signing on to this diatribe.
It's ironic that many who reviewed "The Passion of the Christ" and were quick to say that it promoted conservative political ideologies and (ironically), Anti-Semitism, are now silent about the political methodology and promotion of Leftist ideology of this film. Gee, we wouldn?t have a double standard here, would we?? Well, not so as they would admit to anyways!

no kidding, thats the conservative moral high road?

anyways, saw it:) it was packed at 4pm!! its gotta be a record breaker for a documentary films.

sure, there were cheap shots, even parts i disagreed with. but the movie as a whole is powerful, the best bits are where bush hangs himself. pretty useless argueing about a film with those who haven't seen it though:)

trying to explain a film on paper... gets silly. its film.

A "record breaker" it will not be and a "documentary" it is certainly NOT! Not by the most loose, leftest definition could this actually be called a documentary. Don't make yourself look even more wrong by calling it that. Moore never intended this to be any sort of "documentary" in any way, shape or form. What he intended to do was bash/crash/nail the President. Thankfully most Americans can see through the crap, even if they don't agree with the President or his policies. This is just another example of how the left media tries to spoon feed the public with their ideals, passing them off as truth and/or news: Nothing more. It's getting so old now that even some of the leftist media is shunning it. Heaven Forbid!!!:D
Hey, knock yourself out and try to promote this piece of crap movie. It will not get anywhere near the attention you hope and most certainly NOT have any effect on the election; which is the ultimate hope of the left and Moore. Sure, the regular media outlets that normally promote this BS will carry the reviews, openings, etc. This shall quickly die out in spite of the best efforts of the most militant of the bunch. Keep throwing the mud and hope it sticks; again and again and again and again, ............!

After seeing the film (at a PACKED 12:40PM showing), Moore succeeds best in his closing message.

The people who signed up to serve our military and defend our country with their lives deserve our absolute best decision-making in matters of sending them to war. This was absolutely not the case when deciding to go to war against Iraq. This war has brought shame on our country, our government, and our military.

As for those doubting how well the movie is doing:

"This thing could do $20,000 per theater which would put it over $16 million for the weekend. That would be absolutely unprecedented for a documentary," says Paul Dergarabedian of box-office tracking firm Exhibitor Relations.

As of Friday, online movie ticket site Fandango.com reports that advanced ticket sales for the flick made up 48 percent of its business this week. And Fahrenheit 9/11 remains the most requested film on MovieFone.com.

In New York City, managers at Lincoln Plaza movie theater reported that Fahrenheit 9/11's Wednesday showing broke the house record set by Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon for the biggest one-day draw, with $30,000. The movie also took in $43,000 the same day at the Loews Village 7 theater, surpassing the tally for the best single-day record set by 1997's Men in Black.

And Moore's releasing the DVD in September right before the election.

Crap on this movie all you want. Once the word gets out on Monday about how well it did in the box-office, EVERY media outlet will be talking about it, and that will only drive more people to the theaters to see it. Word of mouth will be incredible on this film.

It's funny to see how outraged conservatives are about this movie, they finally get a taste of their own medicine. I completely agree that this movie contains many lies and false-truths, and that it is hardly ficitonal in any way, but Moore is upfront and honest about this. This movie has a political agenda to it, and it will succeed because of all this negativity and outrage surrounding it. You conservatives are only fueling the fire and aiding to its success.

Before more of you guys think this movie has already been discredited, check again.

You could argue that Moore 'could' be projecting a false truth, but if you look at everything he says in his movie word-for-word, he never tells a SINGLE lie.

There were 2 showings at 10:05, the first one was sold out when I reserved my ticket at 7:30. The other show was sold out when I got there. It's sounding like the movie sold out some showings all over the place. "dumbass movie for idiots"... never underestimate the power of "stupid" people in large groups.

a sad commentary on fat. moronic, lying slob

Congratulations! You've summarized your entire posting history more succinctly than anyone else here could have done.

i thought, as i was watching it, that the numerous points he was showering us with were in themselves
true - almost all of them at least. he couldn't outright lie in a documentary thats going to be shown in
3000 theatres and not be discovered. so he was forced to rely on another route to achieve his wicked
ends.

his skill comes from the manner in which he spins all these carefully selected factoids to create an overall
picture of 'false truth'. some of the points he makes are very important but they're thrown into a cauldron
where meaning is co-opted for the sake of his screed against bush. sad.

You can't read. another illiterate liberal that needs remedial schooling...

Moore entire premise is a lie.
His "facts" on the michealmoore.com site you post are a designed to fool people who don't read carefully.

He claims "The White House" approved the flights of the Bin Laden's s out of the country...
Well, Richard Clarke has stated publicly that HE ALONE approved the flight of the Bin Laden family members out of the country. Nobody higfher than Clarke even knew about it until after wards.

Moore's entire premise that "The White House", meaning Bush, approved the flight, is an utter lie.

Oh and if you don't get a Tax break by buying a ticket to this movie you are getting ripped off. Donating to a political party should get you a deduction!

It's not a documentary film, repeat after me, it's not a documentary film. It's an op/ed piece by a person who has stated that his goal is to have the current President removed from office. Moore also states that it is not a fair or balanced work.
