This will all blow over as soon as he wins another major.

This. It almost always just blows over as soon as people get bored and move on to the next celebrity scandal. See Jordan, Kobe, Clinton, etc.

I'd never want me or my kids to have a top athlete as a role model since almost by definition, they are going to be obsessed with winning and making tons of money and winning some more and probably not going to have a balanced life. There's a low probability that anyone that is obsessed with total domination is going to have equality in a relationship and make a good husband/wife. Sure, it'd be nice if he was a great guy but not really surprised that he's not.

I don't get why people would look up to him anyway. Because he can hit a golf ball better than most other people? He still puts on pants one leg at a time, as the cliche goes.

I'm sure the media is super happy, though, since he just helped them make millions of dollars over his story.

Also, yeah, Tiger is a bad person and all that but it takes two to tango. All of the women/gold diggers (who sold their story for 150k) who hooked up with him to get their 15 minutes knowing he was married really deserve equal scorn.

I feel bad for Elin and the child. It sucks for them all around.

DrPizza,

Because our collective moral expectations have fallen to such an all time low, some now expect such dishonor among our highly paid athletes. I lay this at the feet of all low class comedians and our "anything goes" society. 🙁

Because what they do in their personal life doesn't change the taste of Gatorade.

No, what Tiger did was perfectly acceptable, and I could not care less.

Did purchase anything because of his endorsement. Will not change my buying habits in anyway (unless those products previously endorsed Tiger become much cheaper because they don't have to pay his endorsement fees)...

You are one of those "anything goes" types huh? You find his behavior acceptable because given the chance you would dishoner your marriage vows too?

It would appear that FelixDeKat is one of those "jump on the morality bandwagon" types.. lets be outraged because it's 'cool' to be outraged.

Honestly... if what a celebrity does or doesn't do affects your life that much...

kill yourself.

If or when I ever sleep around I give you permssion to start a thread about it. In the meantime you really need to stop being so extreme in your viewpoints. Suggesting suicide over someones opinion is not 'cool'.

It is up to us as consumers to be outraged at such disgusting behavior. If not, we are sending the message that it is ok for big name endorsers to do as they please and not watch their p's & q's.

I wasn't suggesting suicide over your opinion.

I was suggesting you might be happier dead, since you seem to get so outraged over what someone else does with their life.

You know who you sound like? Tipper Gore and her lunatic music decency brigade.

Or.. the TALIBAN!

Felix is a TERRORIST!

Seriously.. you might be happier 6 feet under instead of here with all these immoral celebs.

and.. immoral human beings, since not only did tiger apparently cheat, but so did a few million human beings.

how can you live around such amoral slobs?

I think it would be a great idea.. He really fucked over his TWO CHILDREN by being such a piece of shit Father..

Hopefully his sponsors will be taking TONS of heat soon and will bukkake all over him

But according to guyver anyone who doesnt condone his behavior is the Taliban and should kill themselves. 🙄

Everyone should have a father that has sex with other women while married to your mother. Great idea guyver.

Let's see:
I don't watch/play golf.
I don't drink Gatorade.

Therefore the only thing this whole episode means in my life is that there are more pics of babes on this forum than average so, in the final analysis, Tiger's dalliance has improved my life. Thank you Tiger.

Pretty much this....

I have never purchased anything due to the fact he was hawking it and as such it has no affect

Because having someone endorsing it makes it worse?
Really... if it was good before it will still be good.. Its stupid to get something based solely on some paid "celebrity" endorsement.

That's all well and good, but the numbers show that the right endorser can boost product sales, and vice versa, the wrong endorser can hurt sales. This is regardless of product quality.

Exactly. Until the pinheads that make Gatorade glommed themselves some free publicity by making a big deal out of dropping him I wasn't even aware he was shilling for them. His sex life has nothing to do with me and my purchasing decisions.

no, i dont give a shit. but then again, i dont give a shit even if/when i do buy anything he is sponsored by/endorses.

Well, on the bright side, Tiger helped Yahoo make their quarterly number and the Yahoo CEO is in love, figuratively speaking with Tiger, calling it the best thing since MJ's death. 🙂

it was actually reported 2 days prior to the news breaking in a trade mag that gatorade was dropping the Tiger brand.

for the record, I have never bought anything based on a celebrity endorsement.
