So.. the truth comes out...

Felix is butthurt because his dad banged a hot chick and left his mom.

you coulda just said that.

Being as immature as you are, I dont expect you to be nothing more than a troll, so thats ok. You are wrong and you wont admit it because thats the MO of a troll.

You are a disgusting individual.

edit: And since you've proven yourself incapable of being decent, already suggesting that I kill myself, dont bother tyring to troll me again. You are now on ignore.

Just think of all of the new product endorsements Tiger could get. Viagra would be a perfect fit. Trojan condoms. Legal services....etc.

I've never wanted a ROlex, Cadillac, (Buik?) worthless golf-related shit...whatever else, so I never was in the market for any of his endorsements.

that being said, this would not cause me to boycott anything. He is a an individual that should be allowed a private life. We have this arm of the "media" that improperly considers themselves "news" that create unworthy stories and issues like this.

I think all of them should be round-up and beaten, or something. This shit goes on all the time; I don't care if it's Tiger Woods, Bob Hope (he probably did way more of this shit than Tiger), or Scratchy McNobody.

There could be a road to redemption but his image is tarnished for good. Maybe an offbeat company might pick him up (adult movies?), but as far as mainstream endorsements go, I dont see that happening anytime soon. Poor Eldrick. 🙁

Of all the people that say it doesnt matter, perhaps you should carefully reconsider. It is up to us as consumers to be outraged at such disgusting behavior. If not, we are sending the message that it is ok for big name endorsers to do as they please and not watch their p's & q's. Dont drop the ball people!

I'm starting a write in campaign to his sponsers thanking them for keeping Tiger so that a small minority of moral crusaders do not get their way...

Im interested in how you word this letter. If you come up with a rough draft, post it here.

Ill start:

"Dear Sponsor of Mr. Woods:

Thank you for supporting the efforts of Eldrick Woods (aka "Tiger"). Despite the recent news of him having affairs with eleven different women while married and father to his children, its no big deal at all. Not everyone is capable of keeping their marriage vows. Some break them once, twice, even eleven times.

Hopefully Tiger has learned his lesson and will build a happy home again for his wife and kids. Thanks for sticking by Tiger. And if he cheats again on his wife or is involved in who knows what else, rest assured that it wont happen again, even if it happens again.

Sincerely,

Average Consumer"

I couldn't care less.

It's dishonest to portray gatorade's discontinuation as being driven by this 'controversy', though. Religious crusades are full of fail and misery.

You are one of those "anything goes" types huh? You find his behavior acceptable because given the chance you would dishoner your marriage vows too?

I'm one of those: Do I taste his cheating in my Gatorade? Answer: No.

I find his behavior acceptable, because I don't believe in morality whatsoever. I am absolutely amoral. This is not to say that I actively work against morality, just that I don't think that most conceptions of morality by people are valid, and that there is an objective moral code.

That's all well and good, but the numbers show that the right endorser can boost product sales, and vice versa, the wrong endorser can hurt sales. This is regardless of product quality.

I think it works because ideally you'll take notice of the commercial more if there is someone famous in it. I, sadly, love the Padres and my favorite player is Tony Gwynn. If I saw Gwynn advertising something, I'd probably think "oh, there's Tony Gwynn" and be more likely to pay attention to the ad. Tiger Woods doesn't do anything for me because I don't have any real interest in him, but a other famous people could make me pay attention more.

Of course, then there are the Nascar fans who buy something from every manufacture who plasters their logo on your favorite driver's car.

Sure?

Kobe got back a lot of his endorsements. Then again Kobe had 1 on the side. Tiger has a lot.

I think many of these companies are only dropping him because the story is still hot. after the new year or so when he gets back out their and does good on the tour people end up forgetting it and they'll pick him back up again. Though at a much less money.

I have boycotted every TW endorsed product from the beginning, and I'm not about to change no matter how much my opinion of him has improved.

Why the HELL would his private life effect my actions or opinions related to his public behavior - i.e. sports and consumerism.

Anyone who is boycotting or recommending boycotting Tiger is being idioitic, senseless, and shallow.

You don't know the guy. Why do you care what he does? Why are you holding him against some meter stick completely unrelated to what he does and is known for?

Get a life and stop condemning someone elses.

I think people who get all worked up about this (1) have too much time on their hands (and I have a SHIT load of time on my hands right now) and (2) are way too socially conservative and need to take the pickle out of their ass. Wow celebrities cheat who woulda thunk it!? The only people who should give even a mild fuck are the people directly involved. But of course leave it to the socially conservative to make some huge family values stink out of a non story.
