it always strikes me when I crack open a yearbook from the 50's, 60's or early 70's. the 17-18 year old men look like mid-30's year olds today. i see a lot of young looking people, myself included. not sure if its the style of dress that makes everyone look like a kid these days (i suspect not) I mean looking at the faces, there is a real change. is it all the processed food? people nowadays look puffy, soft and child-like compared to how they used too. of course there are exceptions and those that don't follow this pattern, but it seems to be the norm. also men are balding more frequently now. we are turning into bald, baby-looking people. i also see a ton of caucasians who cant grow a meaningful beard.

Yes the young men of North America are turning into bitches. Don't be a bitch. Real men have hair on their bodies.

The pussification of America.

LMAO. Whenever I hear that it always reminds me of this:

"Here’s another horrifying example, an aspect of American culture, the-the pussification, the continued... the continued pussification of the American male in the form of Harley Davidson theme restaurants. What the fuck is going on here? Harley Davidson used to mean something. It stood for biker attitude; grimy outlaws in their sweaty mamas full of beer and crank, rolling around on Harleys, looking for a good time – destroying property, raping teenagers, and killing policemen... all very necessary activities by the way. But now? Theme restaurants and this soft shit obviously didn’t come from hardcore bikers; it came from these weekend motorcyclists, these fraudulent two-day-a-week motherfuckers who have their bikes trucked into Sturgis, South Dakota for the big rally and then ride around like they just came in off the road. Dentists and bureaucrats and pussy-boy software designers getting up on a Harley cause they think it makes them cool. Well hey skeezics, you ain’t cool, you’re fucking chilli and chilli ain’t never been cool." - George Carlin

I think it's more result of fashion, men today have exclusively short hair and they shave more, that's the only difference. I noticed that on myself, I have long hair and facial hair etc, but when shaved/cut the stuff I looked 13 instead of 24 and it looked utterly bad, I have same opinion as OP, some 25-35s men do look really like children these days or as someone said, it's pussification.

Kids don't go outside anymore. Sun exposure ages you. Smoking is way down, that makes you look older. 40 years ago at the age of 18 you were on your own and making your own life. That stress ages you.

Males today sit on a couch and play video games from the age of 5 until 30 or older.

Carlin is the man lol

Also I read a story last year (can't find it now) where some kid's soccer league was requiring all participants to wear helmets. During soccer. These were kids, not adults who can potentially get small concussions from heading 30mph balls kicked at them.

Most of us don't need to toil in the sun anymore, smoking is way down, health standards are improving.

Why is it suddenly bad for people to preserve youthfulness as long as possible?

Also do you have actual statistics, or are you just doing some selection bias crap?

Nah it's not that, young people these days drink and drug too too much, which drastically ages both body and mind.
But I do agree that lazy males exist, however this is more or less also fault of women(their wives or mothers or whoever else) who just baby them at 30 same way they were 3, they always cook something and care of everything, so they don't have to, ofc they become lazy fat fucks watching TV or gaming.

This is a good point. Children overprotection, I am especially allergic to laws like mandatory car child seats upto 12-13 year old guys and height upto 150cm(4'11")!
I'd rather pay big fat ticket than put any child into that seat, which serves no protection anyway.

Not enough deadlifting and squatting. Or physical labor. Or both. As well as the BS feminist movement and liberal media. More drinking which ups estrogen.

Just cracked open 5 year books.
Uncles (Marine Corp circa 1960)
Dads High School -1965
Dads Army photo album.
My Yearbook from the top of the 90's.
My youngest sisters yearbook from 2004.

The only differences are fashion related.

Soy is one way men are being pussified. Don't ever feed your boys soy products.

The pussiest of the pussy men eschew meat all-together in favor of a soy based diet. Another news flash, soy is an estrogen enhancing garbage by-product repackaged and sold as health food and Americans eat more of it that anyone.

Could Eating Too Much Soy Be Bad for You?

Soy is ubiquitous in the American diet. Over a quarter of all infant formula sold is made with it, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration promotes it in foods to reduce the risk of heart disease. School lunch programs across the country are even adding soy to hamburger patties.

But Newbold and other researchers are not convinced that eating more soy is healthy for everyone. Infants fed soy formula ingest six to 11 times more genistein on a bodyweight basis than the level known to cause hormonal effects in adults.

“Giving an infant or child estrogen is never a good thing,” said Newbold.

Take a look at pics from the turn of the century. 18 yo with a family of five. Jacked up teeth, frown lines, and generally looking old before their time. Or you can look at pics of brittish people today that are similar.

So the 50's and 60's yearbook pics are a bunch of sissies which makes 70's wussies, 80's pussies, 90's wimps, 00's gimps, and 10's infant baby jesus pics.

"Kids these days" drink, do drugs, have sex, and commit crimes at a much lower rate than historically. Don't pay attention to the clueless hand-wringing of older people who have conveniently forgotten what things were actually like in the past.

Read this, which summarizes some of the current research on this matter.

Though studies on the harmful effects of soy isoflavones in people have been limited and inconclusive,

In 2008, the American Association of Pediatricians reviewed all current scientific studies of the effects of soy formula on infants. There is no conclusive evidence that it harms infant development, reproduction or endocrine function, stated the American Association of Pediatricians.

Based on current research, “no changes in infant feeding practices are recommended,” wrote Haley Curtis, a scientific affairs specialist at the International Formula Council, in an email. “Infant formula is safe and nutritious.”

Also that first link is one of the dumbest things I've read in a while.

I would attribute most of it to spending more time inside the house.

I always think we've set society back by 100 years when I see threads created by grown men who are afraid of spiders.
