Kids don't go outside anymore. Sun exposure ages you. Smoking is way down, that makes you look older. 40 years ago at the age of 18 you were on your own and making your own life. That stress ages you.

Males today sit on a couch and play video games from the age of 5 until 90 or older.

Fixed that for ya. :)

Basically choosing pictures to exaggerate the implied differences when there is no black and white difference between then and now as far as anything.

One thing to note is on the left side the man in the lower center had a stronger and stouter face than the other men on that side. I actually recognize the picture. There are some explanations for the differences between the men but I was wondering if there is anything you know about the man? Any facts or characteristics you could know or guess about that man? This will lead to some point and it involves this culture of men in America.

but anyway OP, i also have a babyface and look soft, much softer then people who grew up a decade before me. I also noticed many of my friends look, on average, more babyfaced and soft.

I often wondered if it was a psychological perspective, as I view younger people even more soft

Without a doubt, but I have long assumed all humans will eventually just all collide into one completely genderless, boneless mass. I figure another twenty years or so.

I think its the mindset altering testosterone levels. The live in your moms basement, keep your head down, play videogames, distract yourself with facebook. Don't mind the fact earlier generations had better work prospects. Be happy with your underemployment, if you're lucky. etc. etc.

Men are also not taught how to be men, many come from broken homes as a result of divorce and such.

Its like, the less bullshit I tolerate the faster my beard grows ;)

And I still have soft skin... its just tough soft skin ;) Probs because I use glycerin soap.

"Then" was the time where DDT and other stuff of that nature was being used. Maybe that had an effect? They did not recognize the danger of these things either then, it only came to surface later.

And of course there was the world wars, if there's something that will harden some men it's being drafted to go to war. Life was generally tougher in the old days too, working long hours at farms and so on.

Now it's hard too but in a different way. Back then it was more physical.

Yes, this is true. It's been happening for quite a long time.

Men then:
