We've got plenty of tough guys today;
Soldier-smoking-cigarette.jpg

What is interesting is how those who claim there are no real men, are actually just whining about hipsters, or just those who happen to be in "the scene".

Man up; stop hiding your bitching session about a fad behind claims that there are no real men.

Also, sorry that the 'prettier' men are taking all the girls from you. It's easy actually;
1) get into shape
2) wear something other than your shirts from the 90s
3) ask a girl out to a Mexican restaurant,... and no, Chilis is not a Mexican restaurant.

Mexican food doesn't cater well to post-dinner coitus.

And decreased morale. I can tell you have not served before.

You were a swabbie not a soldier. And you already knew that I did not serve not that you could tell. Just because you did serve does not give you all knowing authority on the subject. And someone who does not have sufficient morale from booze and edibles is a soldier you need to get rid of. Also too much booze and weed will make dumb soldiers that are going to get themselves and their comrades shot.

Any army under my command would see the ban of daily smoking immediately due to decreased athleticism, cardiovascular fitness, and lung capacity.

Being from Minnesota, the best army you could hope for would be about a score of Canadians who got lost on the way home.

You know how I know you play COD and other games like that?

It's because even BPA free plastics have estrogenic effects. I posted the link earlier in this thread.

Good thing you're not in command of anything.

Probably to do with suburbanization and anti-war sentiment from Vietnam which resulted in fewer men getting military training.

When I hear shit like Postal Service or Death Cab for Cutie, I cringe.

Men stopped smoking, that's part of the problem.

Smoking ages you and older men are more attractive like younger women are more attractive. Dating ages don't line up well anymore. You could look 30 at 18 if you smoked. Of course you looked 80 at 50 and dead at 80, cause you were actually dead.

I saw a picture of my dad when he was 13 years old, I looked exactly the same as I did when I was 13 so I dunno....

it always strikes me when I crack open a yearbook from the 50's, 60's or early 70's. the 17-18 year old men look like mid-30's year olds today. i see a lot of young looking people, myself included. not sure if its the style of dress that makes everyone look like a kid these days (i suspect not) I mean looking at the faces, there is a real change. is it all the processed food? people nowadays look puffy, soft and child-like compared to how they used too. of course there are exceptions and those that don't follow this pattern, but it seems to be the norm. also men are balding more frequently now. we are turning into bald, baby-looking people. i also see a ton of caucasians who cant grow a meaningful beard.

I got asked if I applied for student/youth rebate (<26 Year old) at a museum this week. I'm 35. And can't grow a beard.

Bullshit, unless that one pic you posted of yourself was about two decades old. Last I checked you looked 14.

Carlin is the man lol

Also I read a story last year (can't find it now) where some kid's soccer league was requiring all participants to wear helmets. During soccer. These were kids, not adults who can potentially get small concussions from heading 30mph balls kicked at them.

I understand parents want to protect their children but enough is enough. Everything we do in life carries some risk.

I guess I'm used to seeing little babies in Thailand on motorbikes with their mom and nobody is wearing a helmet. If something bad is going to happen it will take place. There is nothing you can do about it anyway. You might want to stay inside if you're scared.
