The LandCruiser is imported to more countries in the world than any other vehicle. The UN also uses them for rescue vehicles.. hell even the Taliban in Afghanistan drove LandCruisers... if there is one car that could be the ultimate symbol of Toyota's reliability, the LandCruiser is pretty much it. Toyota has proven their quality and reliability over their competitors. I'll let Toyota's reputation speak for itself.Originally posted by: Squisher

Toyota LandCruiser.. way more reliable than anything out of GM and plenty of cargo space.
Being that GM doesn't lag Toyota by too much in dependability studies and Cadillac is the flagship of dependability as far as GM goes. Do you have some facts to back up that statement or is intrinsically obvious because one is Toyota and the other is domestic?
Oh yeah, isn't this the time where someone says something about the interiors?

The Escalade has a bad image for a lot of people because of the people they see driving them. I think it would be safe to say that half of the Escalade owners in my town are wannabe thugs who see it as the ultimate bling mobile. Yeah I guess I'm stereotyping Escalade owners, but people do that and if she is trying to play off an image then she needs to think about stereotypes. Good or bad, I think she would be better off getting a different SUV that doesn't carry so much weight on it's image already.

Replace "good" with "overpriced" and I'll agree.

For the same money you can get the Touraeg(which had awesome reviews) In the V8 WITH EVERY OPTION IMAGINABLE, for less, and have a better car.
The problem with that is she wants to show that she's a successful realtor and I don't think a VW would resonate that kind of image. When I think of VW, I think of their beatles and mini-buses.
Why not get a Cadillac STS, BMW 745i, Mercedes-Benz S430 or a Lexus L430? Nicer cars with plenty of space that aren't cumbersome pieces of junk. Or like I said earlier, a Lexus RX330. It is probably the best looking SUV out there.
