yeah, they're overpriced. if i wanted to each that much rice i'd go straight to panda express and save myself a few bucks.

Why dont you just find food in the dumpster and save yourself a couple more bucks?

because that would be retarded, just like your post

I dont know whats more retarded, your response to my post or the fact that you are trying to compare chipotle to panda express.

Have I hit a nerve, fanboy? Too bad, jackass. Let me lay it out for you: chipotle is a chain restaurant, and the burritos there don't hold a candle to the real thing.

Well, when you consider that the size of the burrito is enough food for 2 meals for the average adult, then $3/meal is not bad at all.

Of course, if you're a fatty that must down it all in one sitting and complain about the stomach ache afterward, then it probably is too expensive.

That is the point. They are BETTER than the real thing. That is why the authentic restaurants tend to have the seats empty and Chipotle is packed with people. If the real thing was actually good enough, then it'll grow and be a chain as well.

And a #1 from McDonalds is over $6.

Sure you get fries and a drink with your burger, but Chipotle uses real food and it fills you up more. I can eat 2x #1 meals from McDonalds (or #1+20 nuggets), which makes it cheaper than Chipotle.

Point is Chipotle is good food, and not too bad price wise.

That's why I don't go to chain stores for mexican food. The college I went to has a great cafe that serves all kinds of food. You can get a cheese burger for $3.50, and loaded burrito for about the same price.

In East Lansing, there are more mexican restaurants to eat at then I know what to do with. I've only had Chipotle once or twice here. El Azteco/Los Tres Amigos is where it's at. (Big Ten Burrito was sweet, but it has since closed)

Freebirds > Chipotle anyday of the week.

I've been to Freebirds in the Dallas area and was not impressed. When I left CA, I also left Chipotle and got stuck with Qdoba, a lacking substitute. When I go to DC to visit my brother, or when we drive back to CA to see friends, a stop at Chipotle is a must.

Where do you live that there isn't a Chipotle? That place must really suck.

Goodness

yeah I think so as well. This is why I prefer Moe's, you get more for your money and I think they are just as good.

I havent been there in a couple years and had fajita burrito with pinto beans, peppers, onions, shredded cheese and medium salsa.

My complaint is that its like 80% rice. Subtract the rice and look at what you have left. Thats a $6 burrito? Sure its a tasty burrito even with the 3lbs of rice, but there should be some truth in advertising....call them ricettos or something.

It is so worth 6 dollars its not even funny. cheap bastard.

Hey, two meals for $6 is a good price to me. I can never eat a whole one. Plus, at least in my local Chipotle, they do anything you ask. Try asking for less rice and more toppings. I've never had one say no to any request yet.

No doubt. If I eat one for lunch I'm good for the rest of the day.

Carnitas with little rice + beans + mild + sour cream + cheese + little lettuce = goodness~~
