You're right. Apple does seem to avoid customers who know wtf they're talking about.
 
BTW I am all windows. I don't buy ipods because they are too expensive. The iphone does seem pretty cool but I have a BB through work and wouldn't pay that much for a phone anyway. If I was rich I'd have one. apple computers are pretty but again far too expensive for something that does less despite costing much more and of which I have no practical familiarity.

I use OS X at work. It's a love-hate relationship. It is a nice operating system, but it is NOT problem free, like they claim to be. I have more errors on my Macs at work, than my PC at home. If I didnt play PC Games, I could see myself owning a Mac, but I also enjoy Windows 7!

At work I just switched to a quad core Xeon Mac Pro tower with 6GB. Developing under Windows is painful, unless you're a Windows developer. I do run multiple VMs (XP, Win 7) to test. I have an XP box on RDC for testing on hardware plus a headless Linux server. At home I have a 3.2Ghz Q6600 HTPC/gaming PC running Windows 7 as well as my primary machine which is Macbook Pro and an Ubuntu 9.10 Eee PC.

I have six iPods (two Touches, two 3G Nanos, a classic, and a shuffle) and an iPhone. Oh a Blackberry 8310 too.

Contrary to popular belief I am not an Apple fanboy, it's just that Windows is basically useless to me for anything but gaming.
 
got a 5th gen ipod 30GB, then a macbook pro in 2007, another macbook pro in 2008, and now my iphone 3GS just a few months ago.

i also own 3-4 windows machines, and they all run xp (waiting for microsoft to send me a 64 bit windows 7 dvd).

i like them both equally, but i primarily use my macbook pro.
