Big deal, it is a freakin tit. Grade school kids can read national geographic at school, and see it everyday!

It was more than that.

It was the whole act. Justin grabbing her breast, ripping her clothes, and her boob flopping out. National Geographic (rarely seen anymore) is not about a sexual act.

"CBS deeply regrets the incident," spokeswoman Leslie Anne Wade said after the network received several calls about the show.

The two singers were performing a flirtatious duet to end the halftime show, and at the song's finish, Timberlake reached across Jackson's leather gladiator outfit and pulled off the covering to her right breast.

The network quickly cut away from the shot, and did not mention the incident on the air.

It was unclear whether Timberlake intended to expose Jackson's breast.

Wade said CBS officials attended rehearsals of the halftime show all week, "and there was no indication any such thing would happen. The moment did not conform to CBS' broadcast standards and we would like to apologize to anyone who was offended."

The Super Bowl halftime show, which also featured Puff Daddy (news - web sites), Nelly and Kid Rock, was produced by MTV, CBS' corporate cousin in Viacom.

"We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced halftime show," Joe Browne, NFL executive vice president, said. "They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the content of the show.

"It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime."

If there's one thing that my parents taught me, it's that you don't make a big deal about these things with the kids. Moreso, you explain to them the right and wrong of the situation and enlighten them on the issue. Hiding it from them or making a huge issue out of it in front of them or making them feel wrong for seeing it is what causes the problems. Kids are far more rational and worldly than anyone gives them credit for. Besides, it was so short of a clip that my two single male friends completely missed it. It was the wife and I that caught it when it happened.

I'll just say that I'm glad that I don't have a daughter who I was watching the game with and that I don't have to explain to her what that was about and why it was wrong.

"I'll get you naked by the end of this song," sang performer Justin Timberlake, moments before he ripped off Jackson's top, exposing a bare breast -- the nipple covered by a tassel.

Great way to get the thread locked, WTG dipchit

Why does anyone freak about about there being a breast (not even fully exposed?) Do you honeslty think it hurts anyone? Kids run around naked all the time. And people in Europe have nudity on commercials as well. How about tribes all over the world that are basically naked?

How about EVERY other animal that is naked on earth?

It's amazing how nudity has come so taboo

I suggest you do the same for reposting the link dingleberry.

Timberlake said he did not intend to expose Jackson's breast.

"I am sorry that anyone was offended by the wardrobe malfunction during the halftime performance of the Super Bowl," Timberlake said in a statement. "It was not intentional and is regrettable."

Wade said CBS officials attended rehearsals of the halftime show all week, "and there was no indication any such thing would happen. The moment did not conform to CBS' broadcast standards and we would like to apologize to anyone who was offended."

"It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime."

MTV issued a contrite statement, saying the incident was "unrehearsed, unplanned, completely unintentional."

It wasn't staged.

The point really is that these companies are responsible for informing their audiences about the content of their shows. This is so viewers know ahead of time and can make informed desicions. MTV caused CBS to be in violation of this.

How dumb do they think people are? A costume malfunction? Sure. Most chicks wear a nipple decoration under their costume.

What a garbage thread. The hypocritical bullsh!t is enough to make your head hurt. If she'd pulled out Justin's crank and it was covered by a condom or something you'd all be up in arms. You're just thrilled at seeing a famous boobie so you defend it. Bunch of undersexed dorks

Ok, if Timberlake didn't intend to rip of her boob cover...what was his hand doing up there at the end of the song and why did he make a quick jerking motion?

Was it a Timberlake malfunction?
