Apocalypto - I want 2hrs of my life back!

Except for a few long distance scenes, it seemed like an old time jungle movie that was all shot on a sound stage. Way too staged would describe it perfectly. A two day march from a deep jungle tribe to a noon sacrifice on a city temple was a little hard to swallow too.

I liked it alot. Heck I even watched the first 40 minutes twice because my father doesn't know how to work subtitles!

It was decent. I watched it on a jet over the Pacific. Helped pass the time. I probably wouldn't see it again though.

Well, remember.......we're talking old time natives, that could probably cover 15-20 miles a day (or more). Not like these days, where most people would be lucky to do 4 miles in a day, before they'd collapse, quivering like a fat bowl of jello!

Good flick, interesting story. I thought the idea of using the ants to "stitch" a wound together was pretty cool! 🙂

Hmmm..it's been on one of the movie channels we get recently, and i sat down to watch it late one night but didn't know it was sub-titled. I wasn't in the mood for that so changed it. Now i wish i had watched it. it'll be on again. I'll have to catch it.
