The movie I can't understand is There Will Be Blood. It was ok but nothing great. By the time the ending came along I was like thats it ? I wasn't surprised to say the least though I take everything from there with a grain of salt.

Stick with the kids selection, I think this is too much movie for you to understand. Many ask your parents to help you a bit.
 
Apocalytpo was great... Which is way more than I can say for 10000BC... Now THAT is 2 hours of a Friday night I would LOVE to get back

I think the reason some people disliked Apocalytpo is because you had to read subtitles. I hate when people do this. Same thing happen with The Orphanage people had to walk out of the theater once they found out it was in in English and they had to read subtitles.

What I have to ask these people is what is so wrong with reading subtitles ? Once you start and get use to it the subtitles flow into the film. You forget you are even reading subtitles. Don't get me started on english dubbing. I hate that.
 
don't worry OP, apocalypto was a piece.

the culmination of the movie was 30 minutes of "Home Alone" in the jungle
 
It wasnt bad not great but not bad, I liked when you really got an idea of what an ancient city could be like, they really captured the feel of their insane beliefs.

Wasn't that movie in Spanish? Saw it available for download last night and checked it out (on IMDB, as I do all movies available for download) and noticed it had a Spanish title.

You know what I find interesting... how the setting tends to affect me the most when I care about languages. The new Forbidden Kingdom movie... I don't think I could ever see it. An oriental setting with Jet Li and Jackie Chan... speaking English... when I'm used to Jet Li in such movies speaking Cantonese? Just feels so wrong.

Oh and I haven't seen Apocalypto.
 
I loved that movie, especially the ending. It basically said, you think what you just went through was bad? You ain't seen nothing yet.
 
enjoyable as hell. straight forward action flick without car chases, explosions, etc... why couldnt anybody like it?
