So do most people at AT.

You can't just have a plan, and you can't just say "we're a second google!" You need to be better, and that comes with infrastructure which can't just magically pop out of the ground.

That's why I am looking for innovative people. Thanks for your shortsightedness.

I'm not shortsighted, you've just failed to tell us how you plan to accomplish ANYTHING; you haven't even told us who you are in this whole idea of yours.

I plan to accomplish something by teaming up with people that are/have (in this order):

  1. 1. innovative

  1. 2. hard working/smart/determined/some technical aptitude

Who am I in this? Another team member that is searching for the right folks. I can contribute domain name(s), funding, ideas. I'm not looking for employees, I'd like to find partners.

Just because you have innovative people that can work hard doesn't mean you'll accomplish anything. You need a plan.

Partners' develop a plan.

If I pushed my plan on anyone that would make them employees.

I actually have a killer idea that'd saddle right up in Google's lineup.
Most of the heavy lifting has already been done by Google, so it'd be a short tweak towards the finish line.
If I had time to find out who to pitch it to, I'd probably already be rich.

best post ever. Sad thing is I don't think his proposal sounds any more reasonable than that...

If I had a plan why would I be looking for partners?

I would have posted, "I have a plan, make money and do nothing because I have already done the work".

I have already put over $30k into the project....all without a plan.

I'm sure that's money well spent. 🙂

And this is suppose to inspire confidence?

If you could provide more details I'd be more interested. As it is now though, it sounds like something else that would eat up my time and time is something that I just don't have right now.

I am available right away. In 3 minutes. What do you need? The $30,000 worth of pr0n will keep me preoccupied for a little while, but I go through that stuff pretty quickly.
