OTG is opening Kvit into a chaos city like in DF1.

I bought this game and uninstalled it all on the same day. There might be some fun somewhere in there but its so unpolished and low budget I didnt care to find it.
Unpolished? LOL?
Well, see ya, scrub. :awe: Go back to your Call of Duty.

I'd agree to incomplete, but not unpolished. The game looks great. It's simply missing very large aspects that most other games incorporate before launch.
To be sure, though, it's made by Greeks who don't believe in work ethic.

Ha, exactly. They run the game like they run their country. But saying that the game is "unpolished" isn't necessarily a reference to looks. I agree that it looks great, in most places, and good enough everywhere. But as you said it is missing a lot of stuff that games like this usually offer. To me that is also unpolished.
I think the environment is very good in this game, the landscape is very diverse, but it just feels empty and the mob areas are very generic
Yeah they are generic. Each safe zone has nearly the exact same mobs, for example. I think each has one specific, i.e. hivekins or brown bears, and then the standard kobolds + skeletons + zombies + goblins + trolls. All of the racial capitals have the exact same sewer dungeon and scumlings. There are a total of about 20 npcs in the whole game, no backstory, no lore, no dungeons to speak of, no questing.
So what you have is a really big world, mostly empty, focused entirely on pvp fights, and the harvesting/crafting to replace stuff you lose in pvp fights.
For me, personally, it's been fun but is starting to feel a little hollow. The most fun so far as been in the city siege I was in, and that was enough to keep me in the game, but the complete lack of anything other than clans fighting clans makes it all a little thin for me. I'm also not a big fan of the community that develops around games that are about pvp and only pvp. There are a ton of obnoxious little asswipes in this game. That's fine in a shooter, because you play for a bit and then do something else. An MMO is supposed to be a world that you want to inhabit for longer periods of time, and the truth is if I were stuck on a liferaft with most of these idiots I'd take my chances in the water.
