Never read that part of your sig before. Do you really have 16 He8 drives? Where do you fit them? Also, hats off to acquiring all that. Not sure I could watch 1TB of that genre, but 40TB? Hell, even 8TB of j-pop. Are you japanese or just that into it? You and I need to get together someday.

Technically, I have 32x He8 drives - 16x per server (exact duplicates down to the CPU/mobo).
Just that into it I guess :)
But in all seriously, high bitrate 1080p concert and PV encodes with 24-bit FLAC audio tracks starts to chew up space real quick.
Take a look see (manually compiled collection of OP-ED PVs)

Now that Sukebei (Nyaa's XXX tracker) is gone, nope, no more hentai / eroge :p
Sukebei wasn't really my thing, but apparently it was the most comprehensive source for hentai and eroge / galge.

I'm a bad file hoarder myself. However, you've got me there. I don't think I have any Anime. Is that your thing or is it just one of many likes? Also, where do you fit all those hard drives (now 32 x He8)? In your sig you say CM Stacker 830. Now, that may be a HTPC, but it does not hold 16, let alone 32 hard drives. So, I'm assuming you have a rack server(s) for all this. What is your server equipment? How about some pics of the setup. I'm interested. :)

Sorry for the OT guys.

Nope, no racks, just standard cases. I modded the 830 to stuff in 16x drives.
The other 16x drives are in a different state in a Stacker T01.
Case and fans are different, but otherwise everything else (down to the SATA cables) are identical.

Head over to the NEF thread and show me some pics of your setup. Open up the case so I can see your suicide run of drives!

It means you can watch anime from anywhere in the world as long as you have internet, instead of streaming from crunchyroll or elsewhere, he can stream it from his own home server.

It will be higher quality on top of that.

^ Yup, with the subs / typesetting you want, etc.

Couple of samples from series that I made :

Chihayafuru (using heavily modified and retimed Commie TV subs - I think I'm the only actual BD release out there)

Tamayura (modified and retimed subs)

Yup, waiting on that "patiently" :p
The Your Lie in April live BD should be out by now too.

waaaa Your lie in April is my number 1 anime and the live action dare I say better than the Anime! They show him play Moonlight Sonata 3rd movement with real timed note movements and that is something you don't get to see in Anime nowadays. I can't even play 1st movement let alone 3rd movement lol...
The live action characters are sooo god damn cute! Anime is real afterall!

0:26 he is soo dreamy! :hearteyecat:

Just finished the first cour of Youjo Senki

8/10, waiting for the 2nd cour.
I didnt like Youka Senki. The fight scenes and tactics are the same and no new battle styles just the same old aim and shoot bull crap. I rated the show 4/10 not because the main is a loli its because the story sucked.

Different strokes for different folks, but Youjo Senki so far has gotten some very good reviews, I think it's at least at 8/10 on MAL with ~50,000 votes. (or it was a few weeks ago)

AB has several versions with Commie subs, not sure about modifications and retimings however.
Hope they're done by someone decent like deanzel.
Have seen some absolutely retarded "timeshift" remuxes of subs with random raws that :

1) Miss keyframes like a mofo (though it's not like Commie's TV timing is perfect to begin with, though that's understandable and especially so if it was individual releases and not a batch)
2) Completely void of attachments / have the wrong attachments / have random attachments / randomly missing attachments depending on episodes
3) Mess up the ASS script resolution, so you have wonderfully inconsistent typesetting between episodes
4) .... I'm sure I'm missing some other "fansub gag reel" highlights :p
