Oh I see.

It's really just an introductory episode. Seikaisuru Kado, which was a new series this season, also had an episode 0. They're generally listed as specials on AniDB (e.g. S00), which can be a bit confusing compared to other naming conventions (e.g. 0 or 11.5) as those serve to designate which episodes the special takes place between.

I've watched a few more series...

Alice to Zouroku - I've seen the first two episodes so far, and I'm a little mixed. I like the basis of the story, but I guess it's hard to latch onto a character when the little girl can be a bit of a spoiled brat, and the old guy acts like an old codger. I think one of the reasons why I'm getting so hung up on the characters is that the show can be a bit glacial at times. The first episode gives you a bit more action, but the second episode is very, very slow. Speaking of the action, the show uses a heavy amount of CG in some action scenes (especially involving cars), and it's quite easy to notice. It's not the worst CG melding that I've ever seen, but it could be better.

ATOM: The Beginning - There's only a single episode available so far, and it's not too bad. You can tell the show is aimed a bit at kids, but it's a somewhat simple premise of the scrappy team (and their robot) vs. the pompous team. Considering that the robot seems to be the selfless hero type, it should work well. To note, the series is a prequel to Astro Boy.

DanMachi 2 - I'll admit that the first episode was somewhat disappointing. It focused a bit more on the Loki familia with the majority of that focused on some elven mage who didn't even get to shine at the end. ("Let's let so-and-so do it" ... and goes and does it anyway.) The end was fine for what it was... arguably a bit of cononical fanservice. I'm hoping this gets a bit more on track as time goes on.

Sagrada Reset - The first episode is a lot of setup, so it's hard to judge this one just yet. Although, I can say that the main characters aren't all that interesting. Part of the main female's personality involves speaking in a monotone voice, so if you need a sleep aid, this might be it! :p I say that it's a lot of setup, because what seems like the premise for what may be the next few episodes comes up right at the end.

I've still got to watch...
Gin no Guardian
Oushitsu Kyoushi Haine
Seikaisuru Kado

Enjoyed both the fan service episode and ep 1 of Saekano S2.

I'll admit that I had pretty much forgotten what happened in Saekano. It took almost the entire first episode for me to remember, but the whole hidden love and dunce main character stuff came back pretty quickly. :p

Boku no Hero Academia S2 is good as well.

I gave up watching the anime back in season one, and just read the manga instead. I'm not sure what I'd say about it overall. For a shounen manga, it does feel a bit slow and lacking in pizazz. Out of all the shounen manga that I read, Nanatsu no Taizai is still the one that I look forward to the most... at least on a regular basis. If we count irregular releases, it would be One-Punch Man. :p

Just finished Gabriel Dropout 5/10
The story is episodic stories are boring as hell but the animation was good though. Nothing special. Better comedy/slice of life out there ofc

That's unfortunate, it was on my to-watch list :(

This looks pretty cute, but too bad that it's only 2 mins shorts - Ooya-san wa Shinshunki!

On the bright side, it did lead me to Everying :p

Anyone here watched 91 Days or Joker Game?
Not sure whether to put those on the list.

On another note, thanks goodness for services like FromJapan and Tenso :)

Are there any more stories with No Face in it? I feel like there should be more stories with No Face in them.

Looks like Season 2 of Attack on Titan just dropped the first English episode yesterday. Saving that for a binge session. I've been short on nightmares lately :D

Also, where's my season 2 of Wan Panch??

Yes, No Face from Spirited Away. I need more No Face stories. That dude is lit!

I also need some Kaido-safe anime recommendations. Acceptable so far are Ghibli, DBZ (and Abridged, rofl), OPM, Attack on Titan (eh, that's on the line, but there's something oddly compelling about the storyline), Trigun, etc. Not necessarily kid-friendly, but I can do without the excessive gore & "adult" cartoon content. Just personal taste, not wanting to start a political argument. I also prefer quality English voiceovers because I am lazy :kissingclosed:

LOL no face alien ghost is one scary mother******. Have you seen all the GIBILI movies?

OK.
GO watch Wolf Children Movie (DUBBED) The dub is one of the best. I want to recc ''Your name'' but I don't want you to watch the crappy quality version online. So don't watch it but buy the blue ray this year. Please watch Wolf Children and let me know if the movie changed your life.:hearteyes:

Also, how can you complain about gore if you watch Attack on Titan? Psycho-Pass season 1 maybe to your liking.

I watched the second episode of DanMachi 2 this weekend, and ugh... the series is just rather uninteresting. It's such a shame given that the first series was pretty decent. I thought the end got a little weaker than I would've liked, but apart from that, it was good.

I think he means the first dubbed episode.

Danmachi season two doesn't look good two episodes in.
