It reminded me a lot of that one show that came out a year or two ago that never gained much traction. It was from the opposite side of the original show where the little girl had the two guys as henchmen and she was actually a good guy this time. I kind of feel bad because I meant to watch more of it, but I never finished it. :disappointed:

Although, the show-that-I-can't-remember was far better than what I saw in Time Bokan 24. The one thing that made me cringe about Time Bokan was that one scene reminded me far too much of shitty American cartoons (that garbage you see on Nickelodeon or whatever), but Time Bokan at least had better animation than those. :p
Yatterman Night
you should finish it or restart if you never got that far in. it is cute and semi significant with some nice animation/art. while yatterman is part of the time bokan franchise it is probably better to treat them as separate series. the new bokan looks like a bad remake/update for toy merchandising.

Phew... I've pretty much mastered the ecchi / drama / harem / romance genres over the last few months (list to follow) - you name it, I've watched it.
Have also subbed a couple of series in varying capacities (Gingitsune, Wakako-zake, etc.)

Most recently beat all the usual big names (Commie, Chihiro, DameDesuYo, FFF, etc.) in releasing a subbed BD version of Myriad Colors Phantom World / Musaigen no Phantom World
You can find it at the usual place ;)

That's another series that I need to pick up again... or maybe I did finish it? That probably doesn't say anything good if I can't remember how much I've seen. :p All I can remember is the weird rabbit episode.

I liked it well enough. Some people rag about how KyoAni is going down the sh*tter, but Amagi Brilliant Park is recent enough for me to still like them :)
As per KyoAni's usual, there's a busty blonde... :p

I could see why someone wouldn't like Amagi. I think it's very easy to push away viewers with a show that doesn't really have a character that you can latch onto. The main character in Amagi (I forget his name) was pretty unlikable as he's your typical straight-to-the-point, no BS character, and the female counterpart was very unemotional. The only one that was more of a likable anime character was the princess.

The thing that I liked the least about Musaigen was the girl with the vocal power. Every time she used it, it sounded like she was at the doctor's office getting her throat looked at. Put a little reverb on it or something, director!!

Oh no, don't misunderstand, I loved Amagi :)
I meant how some folks seem to lament KyoAni's more recent offerings (Kyoukai no Kanata, Musaigen, etc.)
I like their recent offerings just fine - if anything, at least the production value is high, as expected of them.

Just completed clannad. I did cry on the first arc (Sister wedding arc or whatever its called) and the rest was meh. Apparently Clannad after story is the saddest Anime of all time. Can anyone confirm? Obviously no spoilers. Anyone legit cried?

It got me. I don't usually cry. Anohana got me as well. But I didn't shed a tear with grave of the fireflies. And I actually remember having the same fruit juice candy can as the kid had. As in exact same one from the same manufacturer.

That candy is still on the market.

I am 46. yes 100+k club.

+1 The feels kick in in After Story, but you have to watch Clannad first to get the appropriate background on the characters. Kinda like Tamako Market -> Tamako Love Story.
Same thing applies to Da Capo I S1 -> Da Capo I S2 (not to be confused with Da Capo II and III, which are based on separate VNs in the same universe)

Some other series I've watched with feels (off the top of my head) :

A Lull in the Sea
Tamayura
Plastic Memories
Your Lie in April
A Town Where You Live
Suzuka
White Album 1 (not as good as WA2, but still liked it)
White Album 2
Kokoro Connect
5cm per Second
The Garden of Words
Aura - Koga Maryuin's Last War
Wolf Children
Itazura na Kiss
Kimi ni Todoke
Papa no Iukoto wa Kikinasai
Niji-iro no Sketch
Ai Yori Aoshi
Ah! My Goddess
Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai
Usagi Drop
Astarotte's Toy
Anohana
One Week Friends
Blue Spring Ride
Kanon
Air
ef - Tale of Memories / Melodies
Rumbling Hearts
True Tears
Tamako Love Story (have to watch Tamako Market first)
Tokyo Marble Chocolate
Da Capo I / II

Especially that punchline explaining her lie in April at the end :(

Looking forward to the live action version.
Live of Kimi ni Todoke, Wakako-sake, Usagi Drop and the latest Itazura na Kiss were good, so here's hoping!
