Their sound is really funky but I like it a lot. It's like a mix of electronic, pop, and alternative. I initially got the album for electric feel and kids, but found out Time to Pretend is also by them. Plus I hella liked The Handshake and the one song about monsters.

Anyone else like them or is it just me?
 
Ya, they're definitely interesting. I got into them after hearing Justice's remix of Electric Feel. You should check it out.
 
Girlfriend likes them, but she said it's kind of gay and I'm not allowed to listen to it.

Well I can say I'm one of the only ones who listens to coheed (my coworker turned out to be a fan as well after I let him borrow my cd). But i would wager it's hard for the general public to get into them. MGMT seems the same way.

:laugh: Yeah, I get that vibe from them in parts of their songs

Whenever I tell my GF to listen to strange, different music like this, she likes to remind me that I have "weird" taste in music by saying "Fake Plastic Trees!". Good to know your GF looks out for you.... :beer:
 
They were the "catch of the day" on a local radio station and I liked Time to Pretend but never really cared to listen to more of their music.

Saw them at LOLLA in Chicago over the summer...first introduced to them by a friend who heard them at an Urban Outfitter's.
 
Boston radio airwaves play them way too much.....that said, they are not bad. Kind of refeshing actually....until you hear them 20 times a day.
 
Time to Pretend is an awesome song... I tried to listen to thier other stuff (they play mgmt all the time on Ethel) but couldn't get into it.
 
My friend heard them for the first time and he has since picked up the "Electric Feel" 12". I like them, but have to be in the right mood.
