Listen to LCD Soundsystem.

Should you call LCD Soundsystem "they" or "he"? He's the music-maker but performs with others on stage...
Not sure how to properly grammar-nazi the thread?

/Yes, I just made grammar-nazi a verb

I was just curious was all. :p I was about to grammar-nazi the thread by saying "it should be he and not they", but then I wondered which term was correct.

So, I'm semi-grammar-naziing the thread. :D

I would say they since "they" perform in a group live. It's the same with NIN I never referred to it as a "he". I could be wrong though...it has happened before. :p

To be entirely pedantic and academic, you should probably refer to the musical entity "LCD Soundsystem" as an "it," as you would a corporation.

/THAT'S how you grammar-nazi!

That makes sense. "LCD Soundsystem is good", not "LCD Soundsystem are good."
