Thinking of maybe getting an Acura or a Honda, I've heard really good things about Honda so I'm guessing that Acuras should be good cars too.

What year and model do you have?

How would you describe the performance of your car?

What type of gas do you put in your car?

What kind of mileage do you get?

2002 Acura RSX (base model)
Performance = awesome
~$40/cdn to fill my tank (if dead empty)
Not sure about the mileage but I only have to fill up twice a month

Have had it for 3 years and have never had a problem with it. Runs flawlessly. Looking to get a 6 speed TSX after my lease with this one is done...

Parents' 98 Accord EX

Its run fine, we have the 4 cyclinder, but its picks up OK.

87 Regular

20-25mpg City

How many miles do you drive in a week?

I currently drive about 600 miles per week (give or take a few) So I definitely need a car that can take the abuse

2002 Acura RSX-S
Performance is great
Requires premium gas, gets about 30 mpg

The synchros on the 6-speed have been a little flaky. I replaced them at 30,000 miles under warranty, but hopefully I won't need to replace them again.

2002 Acura MDX
Performance: Good for an SUV. Horrible brakes. Handles well. Good acceleration.
Gas: Straight up super only homie.
Mileage: Rated 17/23. I get 17 mixed. 24+ on highway.

What year and model do you have?
2004 Honda Accord LX V6

How would you describe the performance of your car?
(Rated) 240HP and 212 lb-ft TQ. Great performance, I ran 15.00 in the 1/4 mile and have great pull everywhere. Can 0wnz most cars on the freeway.

What type of gas do you put in your car?
California - Regular (87 Octane)

What kind of mileage do you get?
On good tanks, ~26MPG. Typically get to 310Mi before I have to fill again. Gas tank is 17gallons but E light comes on at 3 gallons remaining.

1999 Honda Civic EX (coupe)

Fun to drive, revs quick, runs when you need it to. Only problem with it that I have is the autotranny. It feels a lot more "jerky" than other cars I've driven.

Gas: 89

Mileage for city is 22 while highway is like 27. However, it's been modded with I/H/E and suspension. I already snapped the antisway bar links twice in some crazy city driving and spin outs.

my sister is leasing a 2005 TL this Monday I'll let you know all the info you need in about 2 weeks (after i get home for a week from school)

Forgot to mention, the automatic transmission computer is probably the best I've ever used. It is very intuitive. It knows exactly when to upshift or downshift. No gear hunting at all. The tranny on my Lexus GS300 OTOH wasn't as good even though it was considered a "learning" transmission.

'96 Accord LX Auto

Reliable and safe, yes. Gas mileage is about 25-30, I'd say. I get roughly 350 miles range per tank. Performance, suckage. 4 bangers suck. I can't wait til my gf is rich so I can get a new car. 🙂

What year and model do you have?

2003 Civic EX

How would you describe the performance of your car?

average at best, its a economy car

What type of gas do you put in your car?

87 octane

What kind of mileage do you get?

31 city 42 highway

1987 Honda CRX, 40+mpg, drove it until someone rear-ended it at 240K miles (eight yo). Great car, after eight years of driving it, the engine could have gone another 100,000 miles, it was rusting in the rear panel and the driver's seat was wearing out.

1995 Acura Integra GSR, 30 mpg, drove it for 8 years, 195 K miles, until was it totaled when someone rear-ended it. I had to replace the clutch after 150 K miles

2003 Acura RSX Type S, 30-32 highway miles per gallon. Great car. 39 K miles after 13 months. No problems, but the dashboard has is a rattle.

01 Accord Coupe - 4 Cyl

Could use a bit more power, good enough most of the time. 150 HP, 150 lb/ft torque.

Drives well, good ride. 23-25 mpg.

about ~325 miles before the light hits, then I have another 3 gallons of gas. 17.1 total tank.

I had a 1987 Honda CRX also, GREAT CAR, VERY economial and fast, I had over 200k on it too before selling it to a friend (bought it for $700 sold it for $700 after putting on 50k)

2000 Honda Accord EX V6
2000 Acura 3.5RL

Both are good cars, the Accord seems to be faster and get better mileage (mid to high 20's).

What year and model do you have?

2002 Honda Accord SE (Special Edition) 4 door sedan with automatic transmission

How would you describe the performance of your car?

Decent for a car it's size but it is an automatic and only an I4. It's pretty peppy considering it has 150 horsepower. If I wanted performance I would have purchased a Nissan Maxima or Honda Accord Coupe V6.

What's most important for me is reliability, safety, and resale value. Performance is at the bottom of the list.

performance != fuel economy

What type of gas do you put in your car?

Regular unleaded gas, I think most performance V6 require premium gas which is more $$$.

What kind of mileage do you get?

22/30

I don't drive all that much, I only put on roughly 250km per week mostly city driving.

EDIT: Oh, and unlike the Type-S, mine only requires regular gas.

1994 Honda Civic DX

87 Octane

25-28 city

ok car...very simple...it had zero problems but when it hit 9 years old things started happening left&right...very annoying. But besides that a very reliable car.

1991 Acura Legend

Performance is good for a Luxury car, and is rated at 200hp

Always use Supreme and Average mpg is around 22 city and 25 highway..

My most treasured car yet. Never has let me down and very pleased with it all around . The only problem with the Legends from what I have gathered is mainly cooling problems which sometimes lead to Head Gasket problems if not caught in time.
I love my car

2000 Integra LS auto.

Performance is adequate for what I need it for. It has no problems on the on-ramps/passing/etc. I don't know what the 0-60 time is because I'm not real concerned about what my automatic stock Integra can do on the track. It will put me back in the seat when flooring it at around 40mph.I've driven it to around 117mph.

Gas mileage is fine, could be a little better. The tank holds 13.5 gallons I think. It never costs me more than 20 dollars to fill up. I got around 28 mpg on average the last time I checked. On a long trip to Tennesee last year I averaged 42 mpg on the interstate.

I have a 99 Honda Accord that I got in July for 9500. It's an EX v6, had 84k on it with every possible option aside from foglights which I added so it had every possible option 🙂. I fill it with regular and get about 21 mpg from it driving to work (16 miles 1 way, 1/3 city 2/3 highway miles.) On long trips I get closer to 30mpg. I wasn't really a lead foot driver before, but I love the V6, so I could get better mileage if I tried. From what I've seen, as bad as consumer reports is, they are usually dead on with their fuel ratings.

As for the car, I really haven't had any problems with it. I got new brakes which I expected to have to get when I got the car. Otherwise it is a great vehicle.

Those are large but beautiful cars.

Every now and then I'll see one cruising by, although it's 10+ years old it doesn't look it.
