Yep. The $35 cell-usage-while-driving ticket adds up to $150 with different fees tacked on to it. Some lady was complaining in a newspaper article about the fees. In my opinion they should raise that fine to $1000.
But the other fees are out of control. I have no idea how people can possibly afford to pay.

I think they did, my dad's friend was caught driving and talking on the cell today; they ticket her around $900.

:camera: or shens if that was a first offence and that was the only ticket.

Vehicle registration renewal fees are ridiculous here too..

Arnold approved the doubling of vehicle reg fees, ironically that was what Davis was recalled for.

So true...now I'm ticked off with ARnold.

Just renewed registration for 2 cars and fees have doubled.

2 more vehicles up for renewal this Sept and Oct.

Time for him to retire.:|

Come on. I didn't support Davis' recall and I wouldn't support one for Arnold now. The governor of CA is quite limited in his actual power. You can thank our ass-backwards proposition system for that.

If it wasnt for Arnold sending back the shitty budgets that the state congress kept trying to pass, your taxes would be even higher. Luckily he forced them to cut some programs.

Also,

is it llegal to have a clear plaster cover in the back of your license plate to protect your registration sticker from being stolen in CA?

I tried googling, but I failed.

Just use a razor to slice a few cuts in it. If someone goes to pull it off, they should see that it would be very hard to be able to transfer it to their car.

It was Arnold who got the state in the financial mess it's in. I wish elections would come and we'd vote the buffoon out.

I will try to get a picture of the ticket and scan it.

Got nailed for being in the intersection when the light turned red. I never try to speed up through a yellow, but I was in a hurry and it just so happened that there was a fucking camera. $540 dollar ticket including driving school.
