Looks like I should have gotten in the invite for this. Verizon will be throttling unlimited data soon so I'll need a new phone to use straight talk or another mvno.

How long from the time you ordered to the time it was shipped?

I received an invite and ordered the 64GB blindly without really knowing these things. Interwebz doesn't really provide much info.

Never had a single one on any of my phones. Yes, I've checked.

Com'on.

You may not have, but somebody else has.

I have a Moto X with the same glass and it has micro scratches on it. Micro Scratches do not bug me, I never notice them unless I angle my phone in sunlight.

I never use screen protectors. I choose not too. But there is a difference between Scratch resistance and scratch proof. Gorilla Glass is not scratch proof.

It's common knowledge. It depends on many variables on who will and won't experience micro scratches.

We'll see how it plays out. All current Verizon LTE devices are unlocked and have all the bands you need on T-Mo (and all HSPA/*some* LTE on AT&T) anyway.

It's definitely possible, but it's also pretty straightforward to avoid.

If (as most people do) you have a case, and you give the phone its own pocket, you've just cut out the rubbing that will cause 99.9999% of scratches.

I ordered 2 days ago and it shipped out the next day. If you're in the US it should be the same. I think if you're in Europe or Canada, shipping time may be a lil slower?

Canada. Ordered last night.

I was just wondering if there were any of the Nexus 4/5 type foolishness of waiting 8 weeks after you buy it before it ships.

For those without an invite, it's good to see the prices are slowly but surely going down at places like swappa. Was $490 not too long ago, now I see a bunch of $430 price tags.

Odd I tried a tmobile and att SIM card in my Verizon HTC one from straight talk and all I got was edge data. But calls and texts worked fine.

I believe only some phones can use the lte gsm service. My droid DNA from Verizon picked up hspa+ with that same SIM easily.

Yeah, last year's One is too old. No AWS = no go.

S4, Note 3, and anything from 2014 should work perfectly.

Yea if I could get one of these phones and run my custom Roms it would be awesome. Save myself $45 a month since I would be using it with a straight talk att sim.

I do see on swappa cheapest is $430 almost brand new. Running cm 11. Although I would much rather have pure aosp.

The stock phone comes with CM11, it's one of its main features. ;)

I will see if I can sell my htc one in a while. I do love the front speakers of the HTC one though. But with Verizon soon throttling there is no point to pay them $83 a month for one phone.

I am going to be paying about $470 by the time it gets to me in Canada.

USD to CDN Coversion, + 27.99 Shipping, + 13% Tax + 10.00 brokerage before I get it.

In Canada, $470 buys a used Note 3.

If anyone knows of other invites let me know. I'll immediately buy one if I find some. There are a bunch of new ones on swappa too but way over the retail price as usual.

Music is good. I almost die every morning from my alarm. Blows the N4, N5 away by far.

With that said the speakerphone volume for VOICE calls is a whole different story. Too soft. Its an active issue on Jira and they're working on it.

When did you order?
I bought mind from someone who bought a spare with an invite that was unclaimed by a buddy. It'll be completely brand new and I paid what it cost to buy directly from OPO. Still waiting on my own invite from OPO...
