OK call me a noob if you must, but where are the widgets on this phone? I'm in my first hour or so messing with it, and haven't come across them.

Just hold down your finger on a blank area in any home screen, a menu will appear - select widgets. I have no idea if it comes with any, mine downloaded from my google account you may need to go to the play store and get some.

Wait sorry, I just read your posts in a bit more detail. You're using a nano sim? Why not just stick to that. Buy an adapter. Its like $5 off Amazon or so. I use a NanoSIM now that I got with my 5s during my upgrade (sold it immediately after launch day). This allows me flexibility to use an iPhone or any nanosim phone in the case I need it. Remember you can always go larger with adapters, but going smaller is harder unless you get a new SIM or you want to risk SIM cutting on your own.

I have something like this: http://www.amazon.com/MediaDevil-Sim...no+sim+adapter

BTW, even if you get a new SIM, you can just tell them to activate the SIM. They don't need the phone to do that. I had to get a new nano SIM for my mom switching to a Nexus 4 last week, and we did it in store. We had her old 3GS (no data plan ever), and we slipped it in using an adapter. Got home and used the nano->micro adapter and swapped it into the N4.
After reading about the activation issues on AT&T I decided to just get the sim card adapter you suggested. Now the OPO will be correctly provisioned without me having to create a "valid" IMEI code.

Thanks!!!

New question. Where are you guys getting cases for the OPO? I have an order in at Amazon, but it won't ship for weeks.

Note 3 and the one plus is a big improvement over the note 2. I made the jump because the note 2 started to be sluggish for me. I also wanted a better screen for watching my media on the commute to work. Reception from all three devices are comparable.
I made money trading up so I made the jump. If not I may still be with the note 2 now.

Thanks, good to know if I get the One+, my reception won't be worse than what I have now.

Waiting for Diztronic. I got a screen protector off a Chinese site. They were fast. I'm also getting a case from OnePlus with my next order!

I dropped my phone in Vegas (ugh too drunk) at a nightclub on Friday night. It chipped the corner of my screen protector. I'm a bit peeved at myself. Damn those LCs!

Thanks for the tip! Cancelling my order and waiting too.

Looks like I have the yellow band thing. It takes up about half an inch on the lower part of the screen. Gonna try the leaving it in the sun thing.

Do you have an S.O. who likes to go get her nails done? If so, go with her next time and use the UV lamp there to cure the glue. I hear that's even better than sunlight and takes less time.

I just took a break, and left it on my car for a half hour. I see an improvement, but gotta see if it's totally gone.

This morning I was able to get an invite by hammering F5 and checking new forum threads as they came up. Was the first to post in an "the first who replies gets the invite" and I was first 🙂.

Ordered immediatly 😀

Ordered a 64gb. Can anyone recommend a Glass screen protector?
Nillkin, Orzly or Casebase. I recommend the latter 2. I have the Nillkin and am not too impressed. The cutouts kinda suck.

Also not sure what others experiences are, but I found spigen to be amazing in visual quality. I feel like these 0.3mm cheap ones aren't as good as the Spigen 0.2mm slim. Too bad Spigen doesn't make anything for the OPO.

Got my invite yesterday, ordered yesterday.

How long do people typically wait before the phone is shipped? Just wondering as I am going to sell my other phone and kinda want to time it right if possible.

$480 to Canada with Taxes. Ouch - for the 64GB Model - but Its still a kickass phone for that price new. (Note 3s are still $450 + used here)

Just found out about the rhino shield screen protector. But it's $25 and I never heard of them.

http://www.evolutivelabs.com/products/oneplus-one-pre-order I'm mainly interested scratch resistance then impact. Anyone ever used these?

Just IHO but you might want to rethink that. Gorilla Glass 3 is amazingly scratch resistant. I doubt you are going to scratch it with anything less then a belt sander, but drop it wrong and it will shatter.

That's incorrect. Something as simple and common as a single grain of sand will in fact easily scratch your screen. Even if you avoid that, you'll still get micro-scratches anyway.

It's usually okay to not have a screen protector but don't kid yourself into thinking it's actually scratch-proof as opposed to scratch-resistant.
