All I've purchased so far is Tropico 4, everything else has been pretty crappy.

Despite the copyright protection crap, I jumped on Anno 2070. Nothing else has caught my attention yet but, as has been mentioned, I probably already own many of the other games on sale.

A lower average discount on front line titles, more competition and the gamersgate tragedy = $0 spent this year....so far.

I will purchase Rocksmith if it goes to $15 though.

Check out the Greenmangaming.com deals, they can activate on steam and you can get additional 30% off with the code on their front page. If you have not played it I highly recommend "Warhammer: Space Marine" which comes out to $7.00

if you can, get the THQ tempting medley or something like that in amazon

for 9.99 it has Space Marine and it includes like 3 or 4 other games

Holiday sale has been weak. Best deal I saw was Dead Island, but that was just going on sale again. Fantastic zombie game.

Would have done Dishonored and XCOM if they were 70%+ off. Oh well being single player they will drop eventually.

Right...xcom is still relatively new and 33 bucks with no tax is still too expensive? Please. That's a killer game that i paid full retail for some weeks back. At 70 percent off you're dreaming.

Grabbed Bioshock 1 and 2 from Amazon for 5 bucks, cant go wrong. Beat them both already but wouldn't mind another play through at all.

Can someone help me with Orcs Must Die 2 and Castle Defenders. Which is better? I played a bit of Orcs Must Die 1 and Castle Defenders, and though this is not my genre I feel like Orcs tips the scales a bit. Which one do people recommend?

Picked up Dishonored for $30, certainly worth it.

Some good deals elsewhere too:
Bioshock 1 and 2 and Spec Ops - The Line for $10 (Activate on Steam)
http://www.amazon.com/Desert-to-Sea-...ref=pd_cp_vg_1

Mass Effect 3 for $15 (activate on Origin)
http://store.origin.com/store?Actio...gin_MASSEFFECT3_Web_Feature_BuyNow&pbPage=me3

30% off most games at http://www.greenmangaming.com
GMG30-DPLIM-DN831
This stacks with other discounts already applied.
For instance, Borderlands 2 for $21 (activates with Steam) with the code:

The only thing that really tickled my fancy is the Arkham games. I refuse to buy any games off Steam that have 3rd party DRM though. That's the only way to make it go away permanently.

Walking Dead seems like a steal at 50% off. I'm told the game is a masterpiece. I'm trying not to spend anymore this month but I might make an exception for this.

I feel like I am one of the few people that really liked Bioshock 2. I actually liked it better than the first one. Both are really good but the action is much more solid in bioshock 2 and I liked the defending the little sisters stuff.

I agree with you. Not only is the action better in Bioshock 2, but so are the controls. I think the Bioshock 1 tends to be rated higher simply because of the newness of it at the time. The second one really didn't bring much new to the table after Bioshock 1, but the refinements to the overall experience actually make it a better game IMO.

i think that bioshock 1 is rated better because of a fascinating story and atmosphere

i dont wanna spoiler but there is 1 part in bioshock 1 that its HARD to forget of HOW WELL it was done. Probably one of the best scenes in gaming history?

Nm....with the discount code it is crazy cheap. But you have 15 minutes now to act. Not very sporting of them to do this in the early morning hours.

http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/us/en/pc/games/strategy/xcom-enemy-unknown-na/

With... GMG30-DPLIM-DN831

Also, it's just 15 minutes to check out! The game is on sale for 24 hours.

EDIT:

I also recommend paying with Paypal as it avoids any issues with your card because GMG is a British company. Chase has refused payment to them in the past.
