What makes you say that? This is the off-topic forum, not the I am a whiny little brat forum.

I can be whiny at a time, but Mr.Millenium, I have never been haunted enough to allow myself to get into the world of substance abuse, drop out of school. Nor have I ever been hauled to hospital for intentional OD'ing of medications.

BUT... you have

I feel sorry for it's Folks having a child who's values and attitude is so out of kilter that it would be hilarious if it weren't so pathetic. Obviously normal reason isn't with in it's grasp, to think that it is here for other's to cater to it's every whim (or whimpering)

I find your jab at Millenium very offending Jerboy..anybody who has overcome all that, even if he made some mistakes, and is willing to talk about it, is a great guy in my book. Your just a spoiled brat...why don't you go whine to your friends, rather than a message board like AT where you know you are just going to get insulted? Oh wait, they don't exist...ahh nevermind.

Jerboy, nice try but you didn't hurt me. First of all I didn't "intentionally" overdose. I have changed and have become sober. Will you ever change? Did you get-off when you saw the news on Sept. 11?

Sorry, but you are being a whiny brat. If you did your homework instead of surfing AT you might have a chance at life. For someone who is a homesexual or bi-sexual to attack me becuase of the lifestyle I led in the past is blatantly hypocritical. Grow up.

No I didn't.

Who are you to talk for someone who basically ruined his own academic life to substance abuse?

<< For someone who is a homesexual or bi-sexual to attack >>

This has nothing to do with it.

I think that he was trying to get at the point that being a homosexual, or bisexual is frowned upon (by the general public) the same as if you were a drug addict.

Edit: **recovering addict

I was medically discharged. I still have the option of returning. I don't know if I will get to keep my scholarship or not. It is a possibility though. I still have the same ACT score and GPA. I never completed the semester, so I would pretty much be a new student again. Also I have a large selection of universities that I can go to. Auburn,Emory,Georgia,Alabama,UAB,Georgia Tech,Vanderbilt. I was accepted at all of those schools.

The reason homosexuality relates is because society in general frowns upon it, as they do with drug abuse. You should understand that I would hope. I have not touched any alcohol or drugs in over three months. I found a 10mg lortab tonight in some of my old school stuff from my dorm room. I gave it to my mother to flush. You see, people can change and become sober. My story was not written so that anyone would feel sorry for me. It was written to encourage other recovering addicts or those who abuse drugs. There is a way out. Being sober.

Why must you personally attack me. Can you not be level headed?

I've not read this whole thread yet, and I might but......

That's a little uncalled for. He is overcoming his addiction and you're just flinging things now. Like I said....I haven't read it yet...but I saw that and that was enough. :disgust:

EDIT:

That's what I like to hear. I'm hoping that you will have many opportunities to share your experience and give encouragement to people who are in the same situation you were.

Jerboys fondness for swapping spit with hairy bungers is the least of his problems.

I think he likes the attention. No one is dumb enough to start the same flaim bait post twice.
