You have a car and 2 relatively fast computers. When I was in HS, I had no car and a 200 MHz Pentium MMX POS (1999). I also had no girlfriend and it was torture having so many beautiful female friends.

i dont see how you could possibly fail highschool. I am the lazyiest person in the world when it comes to school but I still have something around a 3.4 grade point adverage. thats with classes like Algebra II and Chemistry II being the only things that I dont have A's in. Its not that difficult if you at least do something while you are sitting in your classes.

Not all schools are the same. One of my friend came from a rural town and he was getting straight A's there and with the same dedication to school work, he's getting C's here. Some schools grade harder than the other.

What does Pentium 200MHz in 1999 compares to in almost year 2002?

I only had a PIII 600 until about a few month ago.

I'd estimate the premier CPUs in August of '99 were probably a 700Mhz Athlon Classic and a 650MHz P3.

Huh, my parents don't "ground" us (me and my sister) per se. Years back, I'd get my computer privelages revoked for a week or so. That's been at least 7 years probably since anything like that (19 yrs old now) - I'm just a good widdle boy.
Probably helps that I never really want to go anywhere or do much out of the house; their rules about going places and being home at such time never affected me. Heck, if they'd tell me to go to my room anymore, I'd be fine with it. I am happy in my room with my computer junk, etc, for hours on end, minus bathroom and refrigerator time of course.
