Seriously whats with all the back and forth? I mean, it's common sense to know not everyone will agree on movies, especially horror movies. No need to get all bent out of shape over it.

PCSlookout is an ATOT staple troll.

eh, it's just back and forth tit for tat trolling.

basically: he is allowed to post commonly accepted lies about everything, and members more or less seem obligated to call him out and troll him just for shits, so...it happens.

😀

(yes, it's a dumb, random topic for this to happen, but it just so happens to be the perfect time of co-drunkeness for it to go down)

Yep and I know all your hidden truths and deep dark things.

Yup, no one makes these kind of horror flicks anymore. Truly sad. Some people think Alien is SciFi more than Horror...sigh 🙁 (Same with T1--fools!)

I consider 'em to be Sci-Fi Horror/Suspense just like I consider Aliens and Terminator 2 to be Sci-Fi Action.

ya, those are action flicks in the best representation of what Arnie-influenced one liner-driven scripting gave us (Aliens) in the 80s, and pure ultra violence (T2) in the 90s. Great flicks in their own right.

Alien is Sci Fi, sure, but I think of it as pure Horror, with Sci Fi an afterthought, if not totally irrelevant. ...It's Hitchcock in space; and just about every shot reminds us of this.

^that's true. not a Horror movie in any way. [Antichrist]

but it's Lars von Trier...so the understanding that love/action/drama/conversation/whatever = nightmare all of the time, 100% of the time.

Antichrist sucked. It was scary in some parts but I don't consider it horror genre.

I'm about to watch Let me in (remake).

How was it?

I watched Let The Right One In 25 times. One scene at the end reminds me of Children's Island (1980). Though sense it is a love story between two boys it reminds me of You Are Not Alone as well.

Martyrs is great!

I prefer 'Let The Right One in' any day!. The acting was MUCH better. If you don't understand Swedish, I still recommend watching the original. If you watch both, I'm 100% sure everyone will pick the original.

I'll glad you liked the original 🙂

Yep. I'm going to watch Martyrs first. Almost downloaded.

I got Martyrs the first hour it came out that is how bad I wanted to see it. Same with Let The Right One In.

I may not understand Swedish but English subtitles don't bother me plus the ones from the theater cut are better. Not perfect. I made sure I bought the original English subtitles from the theater cut when buying the Let The Right One In DVD!

I have a 1080p copy on my hard drive as well that I watch on my 90 inch projector. That where I first watched Let The Right One In too when it first came out!

1) Talking about piracy is OK

2) Telling people how to pirate or how to get around copy protection is not OK.

3) One can talk about having pirated and it's impact on their opinions about issues or the affect it had on your life or things in this sort of line of discussion. You can't talk about what you pirated (unless there is a specific reason that it was necessary other than bragging) and you can't talk about ongoing pirating activities.

Alone, you cannot talk about how you just pirated movies/CDs. That's bragging

I use newsgroups (usenet) always maximum speed of 3000 KB/sec +

Oh it is a projector so the screen is 90 inch. It is only for movies mainly because none of the foreign films come around here to watch in theaters 🙁 Better than nothing.
