Recently, I've watched Insidious, Paranormal activity, Drag me to hell, Rec, Blair witch, World War Z and some others.

Can anyone recommend me some GOOD horror movies please? 😀

Silent Hill..

And there are A LOT of foreign films, especially Korean(A Tale of Two Sisters) and Japanese.
 
The Descent was entertaining. Plenty of eye candy, plus some great scenes of gore and psychological fucked up shit. Wasn't that scary, though...good suspense in parts.

Poltergeist was always really scary, to me.
 
Hard to say. I would put Insidious in the GOOD category, but it sounds like you didn't think so....and I'm not sure what you consider horror...so I'm sticking to mainly ghost/demon/non comedy-ish/non monster horror.

Some that I thought were decent to really good:

The Descent
Mama
The Pact
28 Days/Weeks Later
Evil Dead (while the old ones are great, the new remake is more horror than comedy and it's pretty good if you don't think about the old ones).
A Haunting in Connecticut
The Haunting of Emily Rose
Event Horizon (Sci-Fi horror)
The Collector/The Collection

Wait you liked the Human Centipede 😀 :thumbsup: Some people just can't appreciate that movie lol.


I found Let the Right One in utterly boring... :/

HC was good. It was sick and scary. Why is everyone so disturbed? HC is 100% Horror lol. You want horror/gore, then I recommend HC 😀
It was sick in the head, but hey, it's a horror genre for god sake hehehe! 😀

I'll second The Descent. My wife said she felt traumatized afterwards.
