I've got a dozen or two $1 chips from casinos... does that mean I'm a collector? They're all from one trip and I haven't gotten any more in the 8 years since, so I'm not sure they count.

Either way, very cool 🙂

a play on words is a common way to make a joke in our culture.

I have about 350 beanie babies in boxes stacked in my closet at home, right next to my baseball card collection.

Both are from my younger days, and I don't really collect anything anymore. I'm not a fan of having crap laying around.

However, I am starting to amass a decent firearm collection.

non sequiturs as jokes are also common albeit commonly done badly.

I like books. My whole family does. We have a lot of books, those pictures in ikea/pottery barn/whatever catlogues with the living rooms with the loaded book cases? Our living room is like that. Every bedroom in the house has at least two bookcases as well. The last time we moved the movers said they've never seen so many books, and one time they had moved a library.

I have one bookshelf where I live now and it is over flowing.. even though I gave most of my books to my parents. I used to collet CCG (star trek/star wars) and bought a couple WoW cards (lol nerd, I know) so I guess that? I'm not that into it but I still have it and every now and then will shell out at a comic book store for something.

I'd collect watches if I had more money 🙂

Used to collect and still have:
Coins, BB cards and Comics.... Although I just sold about $900. worth of silver coins when Silver hit $19./oz 😛

Still collect:
G1 Transformers on ocassion, Whiskey Decanters and Bing Crosby stuff (78's, Lp's, Cd's, Sheet music, etc).

I have a modest collection of comics and cards... nothing too crazy valuable. Mostly Daredevil comics and hockey cards.

I'm a big fan of money. I have a little. I keep it in a jar on top of my refrigerator. I wanna put more in that jar.

I have a friend who collects antique phones. I don't collect much but once I'm out of college it looks like it'll be debt.
