My conclusions were reinforced by the fact that everyone saw Fausto's post, believed that this kid was 100% without a doubt lying, and started flaming him. Your conclusions are based on nothing except what you think maybe probably might be true...

Playing DevilsAdvocate is cool when there is some evidence to support your assertion. People normally play Devil's advocate when a conclusion is very much up in the air. it seem everyone on this forum keep forgetting that he is not the one that will be paying for the insurance, also it seem to be because his day is the one that is paying he will be making finally decision if its worth the money to get that kind of car and pay expensive insurance on it. Now lets move regarding the evidence or lack of evidence that is lying about everything

1) The bmw he posted could be not his at all but just a pictures that he found online and is saying it?s his
2) That car could be his friends and he took photo off it to prove that his dad own the car.
3) His dad may actually be rich and own that kind of car plus other type of cars.
At the end it?s hard to say if he is lying or not as not enough evidence even with all of the post that he made prior to this one.

Regarding comment that was posted by someone about saying you know rich people but infect you don't, I am sure Encino, Brentwood or any other retch areas high school parking lot will have expensive cars park in them.

Finally, yes this kid could be spoiled or his parents decided to provide him with everything that they possible could give him there parents didn?t' have that opportunity when they were growing up. My sister turned 16, she got a BRAND NEW, off the lot,, pontiac sunbird convertable...affordable for my parents, and sporty for a 16 year old without too much power to get her killed. So, I had GREAT expectations when I turned 16...wanted a truck so bad I could TASTE it. Got home from school, dad was sitting in his chair, looks up and throws me some keys, "You're trucks out back". YAY!!! I GOT A TRUCK!!! I walk out back and there was a 1979 Ford Ranger F150 4X4.....on BLOCKS, with NO ENGINE, NO TRANNY, NO FRGGIN DRIVETRAIN, NO WHEELS....he walks out the back door and says "You're a boy, now get a job and build it". I got a job and built that truck out of used parts, and whatever I could find and afford....he helped out some, but it was mostly my money and time, but I appreciated that truck, when, 8 months later, I started it for the FIRST time. It had a Ford 300 straight 6 and 3 speed manual transmission. It was by no means a hot-rod, but it was MINE. I later asked my dad why he did that. His reply:"Girls, no matter what their age, need a dependable car, that will not break down every 15 miles, a man needs to know how to fix what he has, and is less likely to run across trouble from others standing on the side of the road broken down....it builds character". All I remember was being SOOO MAD at the time, and then SOOO PROUD when I took MY truck out for it's first time.

Today, my wife and I do pretty well for ourselves. Not surprisingly you, like most good parents, realize that a sports or muscle car is a bad choice for a 16 year old male. There's simply no way to look at it other than the fact that it's irresponsible to buy a 16 year old a car. Of course I suspect that if raiseup's cars even exist he'll be resigned to driving the jeep a while longer until his parents tell him when it's time for a new car. He probably is as likely to receive a mustang GT is as volkswagen is likely to convince the general public that the beetle isn't a girl's car.
