first of all, what do you mean that i troll in other threads? sure i love to argue and blast idiots when they say dumb things, but is that what trolling is?

secondly, you think i'm in awe of his money? i couldn't care less if he was bill gates. i was just trying to explain to the entire forum that jumped on his case for no reason that he might not actually be lying. you're jumping to so many conlcusions here that i can't even begin to take your post seriously.

Lmao, that was hilarious Mill. In awe of money? wtf are u talking about man? Crack kills!

Back to the main point Kev, it's pretty obvious that this 8th grader doesn't own any cars, nor have his license. He's fricking 16! He's not worth the time it takes me to wipe the drool off my pillow when I wake up in the morn.

It was the only logical reason I can come up with. I've seen plenty of people before that will follow one person around like little puppies because they have money. You have a better more logical reason why someone would defend RaiseUp?

wow you hit the nail on the head!! i'm on this 16 year old's jock, whom i've never met before, because he posts on an internet message board about nice cars. you are a fvcking imbecile. i can't wait to read the garbage you come up with next, cause it can't get much dumber than what you just said.

if you really want to know, i "defended" him because i'm not a lemming who believes everything i read or what everyone else believes.

my argument was that there's no evidence to show that he was lying, hence he should not be flamed by everyone for that reason.

There's plenty of evidence out there. As I mentioned before, he has repeatedly called it "our" car when he has zero claim to ownership. I certainly never acted as if my parent's vehicles were mine. Finally, I already told you that over 90% of all people that start threads like this are proven to be liars.

My conclusions were reinforced by the fact that everyone saw Fausto's post, believed that this kid was 100% without a doubt lying, and started flaming him. Your conclusions are based on nothing except what you think maybe probably might be true...

Most of us flamed Raiseup in numerous threads before this, so your lack of knowledge of the situation and your ego led you to conclude wrong.

We have, have we?

Obviously you have, or you wouldn't still be looking like an idiot!

1/10 chance? What area of your ass did you pull that number out of? Who cares if he wants to live off his parents money? Are you jealous or something? If you weren't jealous, you wouldn't care what he said. You could just ignore it.

I told you from personal experience that 90% of threads like this are a lie if not higher. Your right about one thing, I'm very jealous of RaiseUp.

Playing DevilsAdvocate is cool when there is some evidence to support your assertion. People normally play Devil's advocate when a conclusion is very much up in the air. You were simply playing DA to be contrary to what everyone else said/though. That's being a troll and nothing more. I don't see how you can call us lemming when much of the flaming came on before Fausto posted.

I don't see how you can call us lemming when much of the flaming came on before Fausto posted.
I was talking about all the people who called him a liar, and the entire thread from skoorb that was started because of it calling for him and all liars to be banned.

There's plenty of evidence out there. As I mentioned before, he has repeatedly called it "our" car when he has zero claim to ownership.
It was plain to see that by "our" he meant his family's. Unless he is schizophrenic and thinks that he himself is more than one person, which I wouldn't put past you to bring up next...

I certainly never acted as if my parent's vehicles were mine.
I couldn't give a sh*t about what you ever did or acted, it means nothing and doesn't apply here.
Finally, I already told you that over 90% of all people that start threads like this are proven to be liars.
"You can make a statistic up to prove anything. 43% of all people know that." Remember this quote from the Simpsons? Once again, I don't give a sh*t about your baseless number, so stop bringing it up like it actually proves or means anything.
Most of us flamed Raiseup in numerous threads before this, so your lack of knowledge of the situation and your ego led you to conclude wrong.
"Well we did it in the past, and it was "most" of us, so I guess that makes it right... "
rolleye.gif

You were simply playing DA to be contrary to what everyone else said/though.
Actually, I'm usually all for a good flaming, when it's warranted. In this case it was not.

No, actually, you did not, but have a nice day. If anyone needs help with reading it would be you. I told you repeatedly that the stat I gave you was not made up. 9/10 threads on AT like this one end up with the OP being a liar. Ask anyone who doesn't spend their time stuck up some rich kid's ass.

No, actually, you did not
explain this to me, please, i beg you. i really want you to back up just one thing you say, instead of constantly spouting off nonsense. i want to see if its within your capacity.

"9/10" - since you are so adamant that you did not make up that statistic, it should be no problem for you to show us your basis for it. until then it's meaningless. and you still think i'm stuck up some rich kid's ass... you sure are dense.

i already gave sufficient reason to show why he probably isn't lying. have you ever heard of the phrase our justice system uses? "innocent until proven guilty." think about it.

Just get a friggin bicycle and be a normal teenager. That way you won't be wasting your college savings, you can put it away for a rainy day, and you can impress the girls later on in life by showing them you're a mature responsible adult, not to mention the 2.5 carat rock on their finger which will definitely get you some action in the sack on a nightly basis. Sure alot more fun and safer than wasting your money only to wrap yourself around a tree trunk because you decided to throw one too many back and show your stupid teenage ass off.

On second thought - go for it. It'll just clean out the gene pool a bit.

Since when was AT a courtroom? Secondly, I already told you how I didn't make up the statistic. On AT... 90% of these threads end up with the OP being proven to be a liar. I know because I've busted a few of them myself. If you have a problem with what my experiences are, then I guess you need to kill me and snatch my body. Then you can assume my identity and prove me wrong!

it seem everyone on this forum keep forgetting that he is not the one that will be paying for the insurance, also it seem to be because his day is the one that is paying he will be making finally decision if its worth the money to get that kind of car and pay expensive insurance on it. Now lets move regarding the evidence or lack of evidence that is lying about everything

1) The bmw he posted could be not his at all but just a pictures that he found online and is saying it?s his
2) That car could be his friends and he took photo off it to prove that his dad own the car.
3) His dad may actually be rich and own that kind of car plus other type of cars.
At the end it?s hard to say if he is lying or not as not enough evidence even with all of the post that he made prior to this one.

Regarding comment that was posted by someone about saying you know rich people but infect you don't, I am sure Encino, Brentwood or any other retch areas high school parking lot will have expensive cars park in them.

Finally, yes this kid could be spoiled or his parents decided to provide him with everything that they possible could give him there parents didn?t' have that opportunity when they were growing up. Please don?t' tell me that you wouldn?t drive this kind of car if you parents bought you as most 16 year olds would jump for chances to drive it even if it was just around the block.

Rephrase of what you just said: "I don't need any logical basis for what I say, because it's ATOT. I didn't make up any statistics, I cited myself previously making up statistics, so that makes it true! I remember seeing this stuff happen a few times, so that means it happens constantly. How any of that applies to this case, I couldn't tell you, but oh well I'll just keep talking... blah blah blah"

seriously, take a step back and look at what you're saying.

Hmmmm.....just goes to show you how our kids are being raised. I grew up "well off", not richy rich, but well off. My sister turned 16, she got a BRAND NEW, off the lot,, pontiac sunbird convertable...affordable for my parents, and sporty for a 16 year old without too much power to get her killed. So, I had GREAT expectations when I turned 16...wanted a truck so bad I could TASTE it. Got home from school, dad was sitting in his chair, looks up and throws me some keys, "You're trucks out back". YAY!!! I GOT A TRUCK!!! I walk out back and there was a 1979 Ford Ranger F150 4X4.....on BLOCKS, with NO ENGINE, NO TRANNY, NO FRGGIN DRIVETRAIN, NO WHEELS....he walks out the back door and says "You're a boy, now get a job and build it". I got a job and built that truck out of used parts, and whatever I could find and afford....he helped out some, but it was mostly my money and time, but I appreciated that truck, when, 8 months later, I started it for the FIRST time. It had a Ford 300 straight 6 and 3 speed manual transmission. It was by no means a hot-rod, but it was MINE. I later asked my dad why he did that. His reply:"Girls, no matter what their age, need a dependable car, that will not break down every 15 miles, a man needs to know how to fix what he has, and is less likely to run across trouble from others standing on the side of the road broken down....it builds character". All I remember was being SOOO MAD at the time, and then SOOO PROUD when I took MY truck out for it's first time.

Today, my wife and I do pretty well for ourselves. I have two "toys", my 1996 Honda 600F3 Sportbike, that has Stage3 Dynojet, K&N throughout, among other mods, and a 1998 Neon R/T, 5 speed manual, 2.0L DOHC, that has Iceman Cold Air Intake, performance exhaust, along with other mods (that can run a Mustang to ground off the line AND in the straight....I've done it....SEVERAL times). My wife has a 2003 Thunderbird that her Dad, and Myself bought her for her last Birthday....he paid half, I paid half (and THAT car is FAST). And we have the "family" car, 1998 Expedition. We live frugally, but well. When my two boys get old enough, I hope they appreciate what I already plan for them.....but it won't involve a brand new Mustang.....

Not surprisingly you, like most good parents, realize that a sports or muscle car is a bad choice for a 16 year old male. There's simply no way to look at it other than the fact that it's irresponsible to buy a 16 year old a car. Of course I suspect that if raiseup's cars even exist he'll be resigned to driving the jeep a while longer until his parents tell him when it's time for a new car. He probably is as likely to receive a mustang GT is as volkswagen is likely to convince the general public that the beetle isn't a girl's car.
