Also, there's a difference between admitting you're wrong and saying, "I was wrong, but I'm right about THIS <insert something unrelated to original arguement."

No, you'll just bring in new points as you go along in order to look like less of a jackass. Too bad people here are too smart for that idiocy.

I'm 17 and my parents are going to purchase me either a 2002 Mustang GT or a 99 Prelude. My friend currently drives a 2003 GT but I have no idea how much he's paying for insurance.

actually, the points about reliabilty and what not were made on the first page

i'm gonna stop responding to your posts cuz it seems to me you are really bitter if you have to keep calling people "idiots" to make your point...

Ah yes, your point about reliability based on BS data related to "cracked headers." Didn't you later admit that you didn't know much about cars in one of your barages of pointless arguments? Yes, you did. Seems like your reliability comment is invalid based on your later statements.

i'm gonna stop responding to your posts
LOL. You'll find it hard to resist posting a reply knowing that you post 45 times per day. 11,000 posts in 7 months, sweet...

That's enough. Shady said that he was wrong about some of the things he said to me. No need to rub it in, because he isn't an ass like some people in OT are(not saying Mugsy or PowerMac are asses). He's typically pretty cool, so I think his admission is plenty enough.

Oh fvck you.... Why do you care about how much insurance will cost? Your daddy will pay for it regardless, you spoiled little fvck...

P.S. Saying "well, I want to save my dad some cash" when you're getting a mustang at 16 is just retarded.. If you really love your daddy get a 1987 civic so that he has enough money to pay your child support when he leaves your mommy for a better trophy bride...

Yeah, I laid off him until I saw that comment about calling people idiots, then I couldn't resist the irony. :)

dude. im being honest when i say that if youre 16, you should not drive a mustang gt. i did some crazy sh!t when i was that age and i had a freaking taurus. i dont even know what would have happened if i had a car like a mustang.

wait till ur older to own a stronger car.

Great idea. I find that 16 year olds are not only the most responsible drivers on the road, but also the safest, and least aggressive. When matched with a high powered rear wheel drive I can't think of anybody else I'd prefer to have on the road.

lol... jeeze some of you people need to hide your jealously ;) if the parents want to buy their kids a nice new car.. so what.

I know alot of kids(17-21) in new bmws and sport cars.. sheesh and they all mess up their car one way or another... in a accident or still learning to drive manual... whatever the case may be it's their problem not your own.

I built a '66 coupe, '65 fastback, my first car was a '70 challenger RT 6 pack. What a wasted period in my life, this I will admit.
I could have some nice vacation property with the money I wasted, let alone the time.

Aww don't say that dude, those were some great cars and you know it. My dad had a '66 coupe, and a Challenger as well.

sorry man, but it is true. fine cars, but not worth the time and effort spent, when looking at real estate values over the last 20+ years:p

Mega-fvcking 0wn3d. Official and Confirmed.

I wonder if he can walk after getting spanked that bad.

Oh by the way. If your having to ask how much the insurance on a Mustang for a 16 year old will cost, you cant afford it.

As fausto confirms, this was a farce, but then I think most of us expected that, since more and more threads on AT are farces.

I was going to point out how you're wrong, but it's so obvious I really can't be bothered.

I'm a little older, 22, and I only pay $8,000 a year on my McLaren F1 and Ferarri 360 Modena combined :D
