In the US, maybe but internationally that's not true.

Look at the various G* meetings (G20, G8 and so on) and the violence perpetrated there, that's antifa. They consider the arrested and imprisoned rioter comrades to be heroes.

I wish the fucking idiot anarchists running around in ninja outfits would just stay home. Violent confrontation is exactly what these people want. It gives them the opportunity to play the victim and paint all protesters as "the left". If you are being attacked, it proves that you are powerful and are fighting a just war against a mighty foe. This is what fuels their violence.

I think ridicule might be a better way to confront these people. More things like this. Also it is easier to keep the sense of power and purpose going when your speech about the importance of white supremacy is interrupted by angry shouts than when it is interrupted by thousands of counter protesters singing in unison as loud as they can a rousing rendition of the Oscar Meier Weiner song. It also doesn't make good footage for your facebook page. The emotion we should be pushing on them is shame and humiliation.

The only thing better than a tuba would be kazoos - and anyone can play a kazoo. Imagine the hate-mongers facing a crowd of peaceful people playing Ride of the Valkyries on kazoo ... badly. (To paraphrase Arlo Guthrie, you gotta hum louder if you want to stop the war.)

Also.. as our White supremacist marchers grow closer, please bring out your cameras and be sure to get really good pictures of all of their faces. Share these on social media and with the news media! See these Nazi's get fired from their jobs, shunned and humiliated by their family and friends! A fun and patriotic activity that will have you and your friends laughing for years to come!

Now folks, as they approach, remember, no violence. Don't threaten them, don't throw things, don't hit them. Just take lots and lots of pictures of these idiots and be sure to share them with the public!

Shame and humiliation is the way to go. It's just hard to get tempers down once people have started to get injured and killed by these idiots.

There is so much Antifa hate now... Before 2016 I doubt anyone had even heard that term before.

They have nothing to do with the Left--they are anarchists at the complete ass end of the political spectrum as far as I'm concerned. Women's March is not Antifa. BLM is not Antifa. There were some Antifa elements in the Occupy movement but that was largely a peaceful protest (albeit not permitted for their assembly and occupation of civic parks.)

These Anarchists behave been around for several decades...Usually you'd never see them on TV unless it was May Day in some European country somewhere.

However, people aren't charged with murder for planning to murder. The law distinguishes between the act and the plan to act.

Seems to me antifa gets some credit for bring charlottesville to a head. Otherwise we wouldn't get dear leader and the rest of the conservatives equivocating for the nazis/klan.

No, antifa are not using free speech. In any assembly against capitalism (which is 99% of their actions) they are the guys rioting and fighting with the peacekeepers.
