For those of us that missed the compusa deal. This is better.
It does not have free shipping. Rebate goes to Antech, rebate form is for frys.com only.

I got in on this at BB, be warned, the power/hdd/led cables for the front of the case are too short to reach the connectors on the board. I got extensions from frozen cpu.

I'd get that SuperTalent ram now then...it's like $120 shipped for 2x1gig, and it will do ddr2800 5-5-5-15...so it's worh like an easy $200!!!

Ya make sure to check your revision, mine had no problems reaching the headers on a P5N-E SLI and they're way down at the bottom of the board like most others.

Early complaints about the first revision were the 1st PCI-E expansion slot and rear case clearance as well as the header cables not being long enough. My guess is Antec fixed both of those concerns in their 1.1 Rev.

Love this case btw, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants great air flow, likes the looks, and is willing to part with nice but generally not so useful amenities like removeable mobo trays, thumbscrews everywhere, all-aluminum etc.

Might want to edit the topic OP. The case is now 99-40 rebate, bringing the total to 59 bucks. Not bad!

I got one of these from Fry's and it was REV 1.1 and had longer cables and the revised slot one location, that was a problem previously. I doubt that there are any more REV ! cases still in the system. If you have one call Antec and they will send your some revised parts free. Great case roomy and quiet with terrific airflow.

And it says what rev you have on your upc?

We want rev 1.1?

Yeah the Rev 1.1 says it on the UPC. But ya, if you call Antec they will send you a new Chassis w/out the drive cages and side panels and you can just toss or do whatever with the old one.

This is smoking hot now btw, about the same imo as the CompUSA deal for those who got it for $90-25 MIR. Shipping should even it out and less to wait on from a rebate. You simply won't find a better case for less than $80 if you're looking for great case cooling with some of the flashy features found on more expensive cases.

Wow I just bought this last week at Fry's B&M for quite a bit more :(. It is a very nice case, however, it can get crowded in there very fast w/ all of the fans. Moves a ton of air and stays very cool. I really like it overall. Also my cords were just long enough to get to all of the necessary slots, but it was a stretch!

It shouldn't be that loud.

the whole point of the larger fan is to lower it's rpm while pushing more air.

not to mention you can adjust the speed of the fans with the switches

Has anyone here had experience with this case and Praetorian? I got a good deal on local scratch and dent deal on Praetorian(for $60) and was gonna pick it up, but it's an interesting case. I don't really care for its looks, but the case looks to be a nice cooling box. Would it offer definitely better temp than Praetorian?
