Got mine up and running today and i really like it, i probably would have paid full price for it had i known how nice it was beforehand.

To answer some questions:

All of my fans are on the lowest setting, top fan is off, and the case is nearly silent. Your video card and psu will have a large effect on this, but the case itsself is very quiet on low. I can hear my hdd access over the fan noise, just a plane old 7200rpm WD.

HDD racks are moveable, each of the 2 racks has room for 3 hdd's. Racks fasten with thumbscrews, and are pulled forward out of the case for service. There are 3 positions for the 2 fan/hdd racks, which ever postion is unoccupied by a rack will be where you mount your optical drives.

None of the fans have filters.

If your power supply has what might be considered a short atx or 12v cpu plug lines there is a good chance that they wont reach your motherboard as the power supply mounts in the bottom/rear of the case. I need to pick up an extension for my 12v line, the fit is tight enough to bother me.

it'll come again. good price though wasn't it... considering $150 @newegg. the drive config is what sold me -- 6x hd, 2x 5.25ext, 1x 3.5ext. it's perfect for pc's i needed.

thanks for the feedback. so, is it light enough to haul around? i figured it'd be quite heavy considering it's a tad bigger than the p180.

this case seems very good and at this price there is no question to get it, but a few months ago i got the P180 from frys and it seems to be less vulnerable to dust than this case, the 900 has way to many holes, shouldnt dust be a huge problem with this case?

ALl you really need to do is take a compressed air can to it.
I don't quite see what the issue would be. It's a very open case with lots of airflow.

Ya I felt exactly the same way when I got it for $115 after $25 MIR. I was really glad I got it after CompUSA did a $50 IR 2 weeks later and I was able to price adjust. :)

Its actually smaller than the P180 from what others who decided between the two say. P180 is a full tower I believe while the 900 is a larger mid-tower. And ya like Isekii said, I think it'll be easier to clean in the long run as long as you have good air flow and tidy cabling inside. I prefer the exposed grates compared to hidden filters because you can just take a compressed air can to them and clean them in seconds. The fans may accumulate more dust over time but overall there's so much intake/output from the fans, I'd say most of the dust goes in and right back out. I also have my HEPA filter beneath my desk to the left of my 900 so that helps cut down on dust to the ase.

Yes you did.
As i posted earlier, i grabbed the case because of the nice price, but i really wanted a Coolermaster Stacker 832 evo.
Because i didnt really find the Antec nine hundred that visually appealing.

But i decided to move all my stuff into the nine hundred "just to see".
Man im glad i did , i really like the case and im keeping it!

Its way quieter than i expected, if you keep all the fans on low its nearly silent, and still has great airflow.

My scythe Infinity fits just fine along with an 8800gtx. (for those wondering)

Best deal ive got in a long time.

I got the backorder email. I ordered before the rebate expired. If it does ship on 3-01-07. The rebate has to be postmarked by 03-22-07. Is there any way they will honor the rebate, or does the invoice(Iguess what I use as the receipt) show the wrong date to get the rebate? Thanks in advance.

well your purchase date is still within the allotted time for the rebate so i dont see why it woudl be an issue.

just get it to them before the submission date, and you should be golden

This is the nicest case I've ever owned I think. Just finished a build yesterday. It is nearly silent as someone said. I can also here my HD accessing data over the fans.....
Roomy as all get out - like a server tower. No more twisting wrists and fingers. But it does leave the cabling in your case a freakin' mess with the PSU on the bottom. That's my only criticism. I just can't clean it up...

a modular PSU with braided wires goes a long way. My wiring is pretty tidy but there's tons of unused wires coming out of my TP-650W and they're not braided so it looks a bit messy. If I knew I was moving into this case I would've spent the extra $50 or so for a modular case with tidy wires.

I've got a modular PS with braided wires and believe me when I say it doesn't help much. In my case I've got the following power leads:

1 x 4-pin MB power
1 x 4-pin MB power
4 x fan power (5 with optional side)
2 x Optical drives
3 x Hard drives
2 x Video

All of that fit pretty 'clean' in my Sonata. Inside the 900 it's a jumbled mess. This case moves a bunch of air but easy to work in it isn't.

thanks ~

All of the fans have 3 settings. On low it's very quiet. On medium it's audible and IMO too loud. On high it's loud, period.

The HD cages are removeable.

No filters on any of the fans.

Hmmm, besides the unbraided stalk coming out of the PSU, my other cables are pretty tidy and out of sight. I've only got 2 SATA HDDs though so that clears it up a bit I guess. The fans I just daisy chained off the same molex lead and stuffed the entire molex pillar into the empty 3rd 5.25" slot.

Nothing spectacular in terms of wiring, just zip ties pulling wires close to the drive cage and routed as much as I could against the back of the case and held in place with the existing plastic holders.
