Got mine up and running today and i really like it, i probably would have paid full price for it had i known how nice it was beforehand.
To answer some questions:
All of my fans are on the lowest setting, top fan is off, and the case is nearly silent. Your video card and psu will have a large effect on this, but the case itsself is very quiet on low. I can hear my hdd access over the fan noise, just a plane old 7200rpm WD.
HDD racks are moveable, each of the 2 racks has room for 3 hdd's. Racks fasten with thumbscrews, and are pulled forward out of the case for service. There are 3 positions for the 2 fan/hdd racks, which ever postion is unoccupied by a rack will be where you mount your optical drives.
None of the fans have filters.
If your power supply has what might be considered a short atx or 12v cpu plug lines there is a good chance that they wont reach your motherboard as the power supply mounts in the bottom/rear of the case. I need to pick up an extension for my 12v line, the fit is tight enough to bother me.

this case seems very good and at this price there is no question to get it, but a few months ago i got the P180 from frys and it seems to be less vulnerable to dust than this case, the 900 has way to many holes, shouldnt dust be a huge problem with this case?
Ya I felt exactly the same way when I got it for $115 after $25 MIR. I was really glad I got it after CompUSA did a $50 IR 2 weeks later and I was able to price adjust.Originally posted by: styrafoam

ALl you really need to do is take a compressed air can to it.
I don't quite see what the issue would be. It's a very open case with lots of airflow.

Those interested in this case for a new case build and care about cabling/airflow/aesthetics:
a modular PSU with braided wires goes a long way. My wiring is pretty tidy but there's tons of unused wires coming out of my TP-650W and they're not braided so it looks a bit messy. If I knew I was moving into this case I would've spent the extra $50 or so for a modular case with tidy wires.

does this get loud with all those fans?
... and
- are the hd cages removable?
- does it have fan filters?
thanks ~

I've got a modular PS with braided wires and believe me when I say it doesn't help much. In my case I've got the following power leads:
1 x 4-pin MB power
1 x 4-pin MB power
4 x fan power (5 with optional side)
2 x Optical drives
3 x Hard drives
2 x Video
All of that fit pretty 'clean' in my Sonata. Inside the 900 it's a jumbled mess. This case moves a bunch of air but easy to work in it isn't.
