And what moral grounds do I stand on? You don't know. All you know is I didn't drink your kool aid and now you have to insult me in hopes of creating a wolf pack to force me to reiterate your moral position.
And I don't expect you to be a strong believer in personal freedoms, comrade.
I didn't mean to insult you. I'm genuinely surprised (and somewhat doubtful) that you honestly support cultural rights over civil rights. That's a stereotypically liberal position. It's also silly.
Do you support female genital mutilation? If not, wouldn't that be judging communities because their culture is different from yours?
I may not be a "strong believer in personal freedoms," but I do support civil rights. In many instances, I think that the right not to be discriminated against should be valued above the freedom to discriminate. Still, I have not advocated any policy to combat prom segregation, because it's only a symptom of the greater problem of racism.
I know that you'll disagree that racism is a problem. Many white people didn't think it was a problem while Jim Crow laws were still on the books.
