She sounds smart. Maybe we should have elected her for president. I mean just about anyone would be better than Obama at this point.

Next election, we should nominate a mute so we don't have to listen to dribble.

Good to see the flag pin is on.
And it was enjoyable to see how many times he could take nearly any question and interject education, healthcare reform, and energy.

You have to admire a guy who can with a straight face answer a question about his criticisms about Bush's deficit and speak of his own as if it were an accomplishment to finish at double the rate of Bush.

He's cutting it in HALF!

After tripling it.

Wrong, my friend. The biggest losers are the American people. Somewhere the Founding Fathers are bowing their heads in sorrow..

Congratulations posters, I did an actual face palm reading through your comments.

The hatred that seethes through so many of you really impressed me. In fact, Andrew1990 actually has a profile picture of himself dress as Hitler on his MySpace. Incredible!

No matter what Obama does, no matter what he says and no matter what outcome his policies have you will be self-righteously discontent.

Ah, I see you seen my Halloween Costume.

Anyways, as I have stated in other threads, I am not a Democrat or Republican. I will be discontent whenever any politician does anything wrong.

Bush was wrong, Obama is wrong. 2 wrongs dont make a right.

He's spending out of control, he dodges every question about it, and he fakes outrage against mistakes his own Administration made. Its not like he is curing cancer and we are pissed off about it.. he's making things worse.

Contgratulations.. if you cannot comprehend the missteps of the Obama at this point, you have reached uber-level obamasism. At this level, nothing will be Obama's fault until the whole economy is in a depression and people kill themselves because they cannot provide for their family.

If this crisis weren't over a decade in the making I'd be able to sympathize with you more.

Well, for the OP's thoughts and comments about how unimportant for a US president to come out and talk about his priorities of the USA and where he wants to take it and what issues we need to work on is sadly pretty foolish ... I for one just got done watching his effective speech.

I thought he did an excellent job on trying to hammer Education, Healthcare, Energy and deficit/economy plan home. I don't see any negative's in informing the public or the frequency doing so. Personally, I like his plan, it would be some of the things I would try to get the country back on track. Weather it works or not is another story.

Better he talk to us too much than too little. You have the internet apparently, if you don't like it go check out hulu.com or something. He is gearing up to fight for his budget to be passed.. that is a big deal.

Why won't he address the fact that its going to cost us trillions? He won't f--king answer the questions.

He said we are going to move from an era of borrow and spend to save and invest when he's got a nearly 4 trillion dollar budget with a massive deficit to go with it? Its all bullshit.

What do you mean "no matter what he does." He hasn't done anything except promise to jack the deficit to new heights while claiming to reduce them. The man spoke for for an hour without saying ANYTHING, and when pressed on how he can interpret raising the deficit as decreasing it, he just squirms and starts talking about Republicans.

That's not hate you're hearing... it's basic common sense.

thats because you are a open minded free thinking human being - these people dress up as Hitler for Halloween. Retards. I would just love to get the mind numbing run down of what should be done to fix our economic problems.

And smoke screening with past presidents helps us how?

"Obama's spending is setting records!"

"Yeah, but Bush blew off Katrina"

"Oh... yeah, that's right. Who's up for Kool Aid?!"

Yup.

Anyone who doesnt like the fact that Obama is being open and honest, and free with information about what is going on can just turn the channel. But why bitch about it on the internet?

Hmm, how is dressing up as Hitler for Halloween being a retard? I am just asking because to me(a common man), Halloween is a night where you dress up as something scary. I used basic common sense and dressed up as the biggest monster.

I am sorry that you cannot think outside the box and be open minded, but others can.

Anyways, I believe in this country everyone is open to their own way of thinking. They may not think the same as you or Obama, but that does not make their thoughts any less important as they are the people that Obama wants to help hopefully.

Obama does want to help, I'll give him that. He just puts his efforts into futile programs and ideals.

You are what we in the sales business call "A Sucker". If you sell A Sucker long enough they will buy. Once A Sucker bites you gotta reel him in and close the deal.

How do you sell to A Sucker? And keep in mind this is sales 101 if you've ever worked in the industry...You keep hammering the sucker, relentlessly. Convincing the sucker that it's in his best interest to buy. You brush off any questions about validity and keep hammering the sucker. Then once he's on the hook, you have to set it...you move to the hard sell - "You really need to do this or it's gonna be bad for you". Now you can only use the final closing move once The Sucker is hooked.

Gotta give BB some credit, he's a great salesman.

Couldn't he do that at like noon then?

Yeah, you'd figure if he was targeting his deadbeat base he would have ran this when they were playing Springer.
