I had them all from Amazon but for that very reason I grabbed them from the Android Market. It's ten freaking cents so it won't kill me.

Just curious, how'd that work for you? I had Amazon SwiftKey, but uninstalled it when it didn't update. Now it says 'Purchased' in Market because of that, attempting to download from Market fails and I don't get an Accept and Purchase button from Market. At least, from the Market App, not the website.

Try removing/renaming the Swiftkey directory on your SD card:

Android\data\com.touchtype.swiftkey

Either clear your Market cache or turn off your phone and turn it back on.
I purchased the sound program thingy on my desktop and it said purchased for me, but it didn't download even though Market said "starting download". As soon as I restarted my phone, it automatically downloaded the app without me clicking a button. Everything else downloaded and installed normally for me before I restarted except that. Me downloading all 10 apps at once probably didn't help my situation.

Yes. App purchases are tied to your gmail account, not to a particular device.

I have rebooted the phone many times since uninstalling SwiftKey(Amazon). Not seeing any swiftkey files in the directory mentioned earlier, and clearing the market cache didn't help. Market Data maybe.

Wish I'd never installed that shitastic Amazon appstore.

Edit - Clearing all Market data didn't help either.

Try reinstalling the Amazon version again and uninstalling it. Maybe something was borked during the uninstall process?

I don't care that much, I wasn't overly impressed with Swiftkey when I did have it installed. It didn't replace the stock Gingerbread keyboard for me.

AFAIK, you can't uninstall apps from the Amazon App store, you either have to uninstall them from Manage Applications or by pulling up that app in Android Market and tapping uninstall.

Only got Fruit Ninja today. I personally don't care for the game, but my little sister enjoys it, so it'll be nice to have it on my phone whenever she asks to play games.

Anyone who doesn't have Beautiful Widgets... what's wrong with you? Get it now for 10c.

1.) Nothing. I'm just a cheap Android user I guess.
2.) Done.

Lothar's Day 2 App review: Should add that this is not really a "review" BTW. This is just the stuff I have going on in my head. I haven't opened any of the apps yet and probably wont for almost a week, if ever at all.
Summary/Cliffs: There are either a lot of crap apps today, things I don't intend to use, or probably will never use.

Fruit Ninja: I've been wanting to get this for some time for free on Amazon. I wasn't sure if they did this already since I only started at the end of Sept when I got my phone. I certainly wouldn't have paid for it. A lot of these games are novelty value. They are useful if you're at an airport or on a flight...That's it. When I'm home, I do the "real" games on my PC/old console. Bought it.
BB - Bedtime Battle: Not married and don't have a kid, but I bought this anyway. Future proofing, but I have no use for it now and probably won't for 4 years. Bought it and uninstalled immediately.
AirSync by doubleTwist: Don't have an Apple device, so no need for it. I bought it anyway in case someone wants to sync their own Apple device to my phone. Bought it and uninstalled immediately.
Flick Golf!: See review on Fruit Ninja about smartphone games being novelty value. Probably might never play it, or only open it once a year. Bought it.
Star Chart: Geek feature. No need for it. I bought it anyway in case I want to show off.
Reckless Racing: See review on Fruit Ninja about smartphone games being novelty value. Probably might never play it, or only open it once a year. Probably might never play it, or only open it once a year. Bought it.
Reckless Racing PLAY: See review on Fruit Ninja about smartphone games being novelty value. Wasn't sure what the difference between this one and the previous one. I later looked closer and I saw "HD" in the description. I became almost pissed that I had wasted $0.10 on the previous app and wanted to do my 1st Android Market refund ever(15 mins window hadn't passed yet). When I saw both "high performance device required" and "* Xperia PLAY optimized *", I wasn't sure what to think...I also wanted something that could work on a crap phone If I so desire to get one. I changed my mind and decided not to initiate a refund for the previous app. Probably might never play it, or only open it once a year. Bought it.
Christmas HD: I'm a Christmas guy but not a "live" wallpaper guy. I don't do live wallpapers. Since it's the season and I'm in the mood, I bought it. Rest assured though, if this was an app that cost more than that $0.10, I wouldn't have bought it regardless of whether "it's the season and I'm in the mood" or not.
NFL Rivals: Pay for a sports app? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I wouldn't even install one for free. Unless if it's Olympics or FIFA related and free, I don't care about sports. I don't care if it's the real thing telling sports news or a fantasy game version. Skipped it. Once again, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Beautiful Widgets: Never tried this, but it was always on my radar. I was waiting for it to come on Amazon App store for free. Has this one been before? Has Amazon ever repeated the same app since they started doing the free apps thing in March? Bought it.
Read It Later Pro: Not sure what to think of this or whether I'll ever use it, but the name sounded appealing. Bought it

How many of the apps I bought yesterday did I open? Zero.
This could turnout to become another STEAM sales addiction. I've had a backlog of games on STEAM for 2 years even though I haven't bought anything new in a while.

Sidenote:
Google needs to have a way of allowing you to purchase without installing. Many things I bought with no intention of installing them.

I think you just went a bit insane, really. :D

Yesterday (well Tuesday now) I got Soundhound and SwiftKey; also Minecraft but I refunded that (ran like crap on my phone).
I just got Beautiful Widgets, Fruit Ninja and Reckless Racing (both versions).
All in all, can't complain for the price, as I've been meaning to get some of these. I already had Fruit Ninja and Reckless Racing but on a different Google account than my primary one; now I don't have to setup two accounts anymore (yay). Beautiful Widgets is worth it just for the battery widget alone, since I like being able to see the exact percentage (which Froyo doesn't do, unlike CM7 which I was using previously).

Can't wait to see what will be on sale next.

Today it's ADW Launcher Ex. I've always been curious, esp. now that good ol' Launcher Pro seems to be abandonware, but I didn't like the free version enough to consider buying it.

We'll see, though I'll probably be running stock ICS launcher soon anyway.

I'm not seeing the new list?

Yeah I went to Phandroid and got the list. Bought ADW and that Getaway game. Going to try the free version of space physics before deciding to buy or not.

Also, OnLive is now out for Android (and is free).

I grabbed a few yesterday.

Read It Later is freaking awesome; one of the best apps ever. This will be one of my most used apps giong forward for sure.

Fruit Ninja is terrible, Ill likely uninstall it soon.

No idea how to use Beautiful Widgets, but I guess I'll try and fiddle with it later.

Is ADWLauncher useful at all? Everything else for today looks like crap.

ADW is a "homescreen" replacement. I haven't used ADW, but they're all similar in that they generally allow better customizing of your homescreen and dock.
