if only launcher pro supported gestures to hide/show the notification bar, i'd switch.
It does

It does
i can hide or show it through settings, but I don't see any options for gestures anywhere in the setttings (launcher pro plus)
in adw i can swipe upwards anywhere on the screen and it will toggle the bar on or off
Geez most of you have nothing on your homescreen. I need app icons on my homescreen.
Long press on any of the icons. You can change shortcut, change icon, or add a swipe gesture. Options for swipe gestures are:
nothing
launch app
launch shortcut
show screen previews
open app drawer
open notifications
show/hide status bar
ah, thanks...didn't know that. that's per icon though, which is a pain. adw lets me set one for the entire screen

Are you going to do the $30 prepaid Verizon deal with your Droid? I'm very curious for someone to try it to see what kind of speed they get.

make your battstatt transparent!
How do you do that? No matter what I do on mine it has a background. Either solid or translucent, but never transparent.
Toggle the background off (or on, then off, or whatever).
