Post here if you are able to get the update OTA. I have 4.1 galaxy Nexus GSM. Not getting it yet.

I have Jelly Bean on my old Galaxy S (rooted).

Not really that big of a difference from Ice Cream Sandwich.....I actually prefer IC more (look/options etc).....even though I'm sure JB is faster (hard to tell as I'm comparing it to Galaxy S3 which has better specs).

Mine is updating as I type. It's pretty big size update, 74 mb.

The direct Google download link is available. There's no need to wait for the OTA. I did the direct download. I'm too impatient to wait for the OTA.

There is lot more options on the developers menu. But developers menu is hidden in the settings menu now. You have to unlock via tapping the about 7 times to unlock it, sort of like the Jellybean easter egg.

Sounds like something the ROM folks will revert.

(Waiting for Pete to get his hands on the source...)

Cleared the data on the google services framework app, which has helped push the OTA's to my device in the past, and didn't get anything. Will be trying throughout the day.

I tried that about 4 times on my Nexus 7 (including after rebooting) but got nothing.

Google has not released the Over the Air (OTA) update for the Nexus 7. They have released the zip files so you can manually flash with a computer though.

If you're that anxious to get it, why not download the file and manually flash it?

I'm at work so I don't have my cables or anything. Also, I don't think the OTA file is out there for yakju, just takju.

Who broke AT Forums!?

I'm pretty sure OTAs only rearrange /system -- they don't wipe /data

So, the Nexus 7 4**2 update won't cause data loss, but it's a pain**

http://www**androidpolice*****/2012...e-nexus-7-now-manual-download-link-available/

I'm not going to bother** Google should simply issue a standard non-OTA installer for it**

It seems to be removing all the periods and other stuff like dotc o m

If it says ** that that's a period
If it says ***** then that may be a period-"c o m"

Is this some sort of hyperactive web link killer?

I have no idea what happened to the forums
There's no thread in the secret moderator area - although I made one

I'll update when I learn more

Tech forum suggests somebody put dot-c-o-m into the spam filter -- doh
