Seems to me communism is attractive to just one political party. The one that had 7 Senators and one House member visit Moscow on July 4, 2018 instead of being in their respective home districts celebrating our Independence Day with their constituents. The party that has its leader say he believes Putin over the entire U.S. intelligence network vis a vis Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Russia is *not* a communist country & hasn't been for 25 years or so. They flipped completely into a corrupt capitalist kleptocracy. There are consequently no moral or ideological barriers between them & the GOP.

That's one thing Communists have over Republicans. Way more racially diverse. On the other hand, they do share an 'ends justify the means' philosophy and a fondness for subverting 'bourgeois' democracy.

People who think Russia and China are still communist states have to be the most uneducated types of people who think they have a grasp on understanding politics and shouldn't be allowed to vote.
