I don't know about you, but my organs continue to work while I'm asleep...

Right. Sleep is basically just a period for your brain to literally recover.

its very possible, not sure about not sleep but there are ppl that get away with 1hr to even 20 min naps and they are done. its rare, but it does occur and these people fuction just fine, no psychological problems or physical problems. i read that in one study they brought in a woman who claimed that she didn't sleep much if any at all. ont he first nite she was anxious so didn't get any sleep and the next few days they studied her she got 2 hours or so at most. but she fuctioned with out any problems.

Anyhow, one person out of many billion of people is a pretty small statistical number. Therefore since those odds are so small it very well could be possibly that this guy has a genetic mutation in which he does not require sleep.
That's like saying, someone "has a genetic mutation so they don't have to breath", or "has a mutation so they don't have to have heart-beats". WTF?

Do you all think there is no way at all that there is 1:10,000,000,000 chance that somebody may 'evolve' where they do not need sleep?
Uhh, yeah. Sure. And so, why hasn't "superman" been born yet, a human that is impervious to bullets, etc., and has both infra-red eye-laser beams, and super-cold freeze-breath. Man, imagine the $$$ he could make at a popular night club/restaraunt, cooking the food and icing the drinks at the same time!

Hell this very well could be a real human example of evolution at work.
Or it could be fake.
Ya think? The old guy's probably lost his memory, and just passes out and doesn't remember a thing. It's possible for people to suddenly succumb to intense sleep needs, even in the middle of a sentence. Rare, but possible.

Nightly defrag, and a change to flush out the daily pagefile's accumulation of cruft.
