I was listening to the radio this morning and it was one of those talk radio deals where people call in. This lady had called in because she was mad that her coworker got Good Friday off and she didn't.

She started off the call by saying that she is "very religious". Usually when someone uses that to describe themself, it just means that they go to church. So that got me listening and sure enough this lady did not disapoint. She says that her coworker got Good Friday off even though her coworker isn't nearly as religious. He evidence of this was the coworker is a lesbian and according to her, "Churches don't let those people in." WTF? She goes on to say that her coworker also has a beard. I'm not sure at all what that had to do with anything.

But her basic thought was that gay people are not allowed in church, that her coworker was less of a Christian than her and that she deserved the day off more than her coworker because she is "very religious".

This is not how true Christians think or act.

Ok put it this way a "Beard" is an old slang term for the partner of the opposite sex that hangs out with a gay person to help hide the fact the person is gay. Think the 70's & 80's, if you were gay and wanted to be in a profession that required you to be around children, ie. school teacher, in politics or any other career that didn't tolerate gays then a "beard" was sort of a necessity.

OP, you do realize the Radio is there for entertainment purposes?

Once your hatred of Christians subsides you will realize all of radio is staged in some ways. You have to go through the producers etc where they cherry pick the calls and have a pre-interview before it goes on the air. Wouldn't suprise me of this Christian was fake just to get a rise out of people like you.
