I would be in if we run CS with FF on and AWP's banned. Thats about the only online game I play, and thats about the only server type I play on.

Not to be a prick or nitpicky, but no sense supporting something I wouldnt play on.......

how about just a regular CS server, because i'm sure that's what most ATers play on anyways~ (like me)

I really don't care about AWPs, because I usually never die by awps anyways... but FF on? gets too complicated... plus there's whether or not you penalize somebody who's sloppy at shooting, and that occassional asshole..

Anyways, my point - I think more people would play on a regular server than an FF on server. Most servers are FF off, AWP on anyways, and I wouldn't play on a server that has FF on. AWP is a legit weapon in CS too, and if it were so godly then everybody would be using awps. It's like saying let's ban HE grenades...

Very bad idea. Plus it's so arbitrary. Why not Elite members only?Someone with 800 posts might be a troll, but 1000 posts and you're certified? If it's an Anandtech server, all Anandtech members should get to play You wouldn't have suggested it if you didn't happen to be a Golden member.

Narzy - Set up some place to ship parts for those that are willing to do so. Might be helpful to create a web page with these things:

1. What parts are needed
2. What parts someone has already said they'll donate and the date(so someone else can provide it if the person doesn't provide it within a certain time)
3. What parts you've actually received
4. How much money has been donated and by whom (so people can verify you received their donation, so everyone can verify you're not using it to start your Geforce FX sculpture, so everyone can check on how much more is needed.)

I can donate a 30 gig 7200 rpm hard drive for the cause. I also have a p3 500 sitting here at home w/o a home. But if the server does go offline in the future, would I get my parts back?

if that's the case, i can donate some parts then (I just ask for them back because i can use them later on for my nieces)
I have the hdd, 32x plextor scsi cdrom, geforce2 mx video card, some 128 meg sticks of pc133 (if needed).
i might have some more stuff but ill have to check. Anything for the cause since I love gaming
