In a multithreaded version of Windows (e.g. NT, 2000, XP Pro) Windows will assign threads to each processor, however unless you are running two very CPU intensive threads you won't really get any benefit from running dual CPUs. Other than Quake III Arena, most games aren't multithreaded. There's not much thread level parallelism to be extracted from games it seems and there's also very little demand for games that support multiple processors so you won't see any benefits there either.I got cut off...was gonna ask what kind of performance I would get out of new, demanding games...
