Today I watched the Windows Vista (Known previously as Longhorn) video that most people in here have already seen, I have never seen such plagiarism and hypocritical opinions about micro$oft's creativity I will use the following comics page to explain myself.

So here is what I have to say to Bill G8ates :

EAT PENGUIN $HIT AND DIIIIIIE YOU A$$ SPELUNKER !!!!!!!!

The reason behind the rant is as follows below in an interview with a very important member of the micro$oft Vista development team , that was all over the internet :

Chris Jones : You will not get spyware and malware on your computer anymore.

Interviewer : Why not?

Chris Jones : Because we have great Anti-Malware/Spyware support built into the system!!!

The Linuxator : ; turns off BS alarm; -------------> at this instant the need for a rant on AT was absolute.

its the same BS over and over. Fake security promises.

because KDE or GNOME have more to offer.... 20 years after apple lisa and i still cant copy and paste between evolution and firefox... :roll:

All troll flamebait aside, windows 2000/xp/vista still have at least 5 years on linux as far as desktop usability goes

No this is not my point it's just what I call blowing steam , I don't care if you use an OS from Mars, but all I care about is that credit should be due whereever it belongs , which is in this case OS X and Linux/OpenSource Communitty thats all.

EDIT: That A hole even added the Linux root functionality & Apple's transperancy+ others to windows Vista , and they claim it to be an awsome innovative feature WOW indeed I am amazed

let me guess you're 13 year old kid with braces wearing a black xl sized t shirt... what the hell is linux root functionality?

Linux isn't anything other than a free version of what commerical unix has been since 1970....

Actually, I think Linux has pretty good support for D3, HL2/CSS, and emulation. Not sure about Starcraft, though.

i would convert to linux in a heart beat but i would have to spend a week learning the nooks and crannies of it, being the windows user i am. i'm seriously contemplating it.... arg i want to so bad.

Say goodbye to HL2, CS:S, and CS 1.6. Of course, Linux fanboys will tell you you can play them, but what they really mean is that you can enjoy a soupy, car-sickness inspiring experience through a certified PWE (Poor Windows Emulator) called Wine.

Starcraft should run under wine without issue.

however, there is a difference between Unix and UNIX.

What !!! you think you are insulting me or something? I dont give 2 $hits what you use it doesn't benefit nor harm me, it's a matter of personal choice and I respect that. That is why I have this thread in the off topic because I don't have any intentions of going technical nor transforming this thread into another " Why you should convert to Linux/ Linux vs Windows Article" to the already existing quadrillion articles and blogs out there.
